Made it home safe and sound with some change to spare :)

We made it home safe and sound :)
Hubby and Ashley were so happy to see us, and we them :)
My SIL, Sharon is the Tetris Master. She fit all this in the back of my jeep. Under all this I have a metal storage cart.
My camera is working again, so I took some photo's to share my goodies with you.
I purchased these from that, out of the way, Scrap booking store.
I found these papers at Walmart. I love that they are only $5.00 a paper pack. Oh ya I found the real Georgia Pacific card stock too, lol.
I found these composition note books for .40cents.  I am going to put together a Smash book for my girls. I am hoping that they use it when we go to Montana next month. I saw a video from Stacy .
I won an original Smash book :) I haven't received it yet, but am so excited to see it.
These were my Joann's purchases. Can't wait to try that rolled flower punch.
I love quilting stores. They just feel so cozy, I could spend all day in one. I went into 2 of them on our way home.
Here are a few patterns I hope to complete...OK I hope to start by the end of the year :)
This is the storage card that was under all the goodies in my jeep :)
When I saw this, I told Sharon that this would be perfect for my Cuttlebug and all the dies and folders I have.
We asked if they had it un-assembled. But nope.
Sharon said if you really want it, I will make it fit. And she did!!!!
Unfortunately she couldn't make the 4.5 ft wired dress form fit in the jeep :(
Now that I picked up my Copics from over the border, they are all happy together, looking all pretty :)
I want them all. Do I need them all? Nope, but I want to fill in my charts in my Copic Journal, teehee.
Now that I have all my goodies home, I want to create my butt off.
But I have so much work to catch up on, I'll be busy all week. Plus we have a few birthday's to celebrate this week. Starting with Ashley's tomorrow :)

Thankful Thursday:
That I am lucky to be able to go on a girls trip with my daughters and Sharon.
That I am able to purchase supplies, that I so enjoy playing with.
That I was missed while I was away.
For the Happy Mail I received while I was gone.
For Pea loving my mini album I sent here. I will post that tomorrow :)

What are you Thankful for?

In Duluth

Very short post today.
I can't upload/down load any photo's as my camera is vibrating again. Yup I guess I need a new camera.
So I will share some pics from our trip to Mall of America.
Here are Kristy and Heather. We love video games and the girls say that Kristy is Luigi, Ashley is Mario (she had to work so couldn't join us :(   )and Heather is Yoshi.
Sharon and I in front of the Rainforest Cafe.
I have never ate here, but love the front display. It is so cool.
Here is the Harry Potter Lego displays I was telling you about. I am blown away by the things they make with these Lego's.
 Aren't they so neat.
Onto My Day:
Because it is so hot, we decided to skip the Zoo and drive to Duluth. The temps in Minneapolis was over 100F. It was 34C here in Duluth. I am not complaining. I really don't mind this heat, its better then -40C.
On the way (for the last few years) I have seen a billboard with a scrap booking store advertised. The Pine City Scrapbooking Co.
Hubby would never turn off the highway, because...well he is our "Time Nazi" and it would take us off course, lol.
So I told the girls that no matter what you want to do, or where you want to go, just tell me and we will go there.
So I decided I was going to finally check out. It was awesome!!!

Because it was in a small town, Pine City, I didn't really expect to much. Wow was I wrong!!!
It had more supplies then Archivers. They had Graphic 45, Greeting Farm, House Mouse and so, so much more. I was so overwhelmed. They even hold scrap booking retreats there. They showed us around to where they hold the retreats. I was so impressed.
I will be going back to this store again.
We came into Duluth, found a hotel, went to Miller Hill Mall, hit Michael's, Target, Best Buy and Walmart.

So we are heading home tomorrow morning.
I will get Sharon to repack the jeep with all our treasure's. I tell you, it sure is nice having a Tetris master to pack up the jeep :)

Mall of America.

Today was a full day of shopping. We got to Mall of America as soon as they opened and stayed all day and part of the evening. Then we hit Burnsville again.
We also made it to Joann's.
Here are the goodies I found at Archiver's. I was a bit ticked. I printed off quite a few coupons for the stores. But they only let me use one. I usually give the girls one to use for me, but this time they asked for their phone number, of course theirs is the same as mine, so they only let us use one.
These are the goodies I found at Joann's. We picked up a coupon book at the enterance. When I went to the counter, I asked the girl which coupon would be the best one for me to use. She scanned 3, 40% off coupons for my one transaction.
I now love this store. Wish I had one near me :)

Yes I do buy more then just craft supplies, teehee.
It just the craft supplies are one size fits all, and so much fun to play with :)
I purchased 2 tops and a pair of jean capris.

It was another hot day today. It was 37C at 9:30am. Plus the humidity was high. Sharon's glasses kept fogging up everytime we went out of the jeep.
When Sharon and I went to unload the parcels in the jeep, these clouds were hanging low, and the wind picked up.
This looks actually was lighter then they really were.
We did get a bit of rain. But we were inside the mall so we misssed it all.
Had to check out the Lego store. It was packed.
I got Sharon and Kristy to pose with Woody.
There were some cool lego displays with Harry Potter.
This one's for you Schell :)
I think I got hit on today.
I am so out of practice with this sort of thing, so I am not sure, LOL.
I was warming up my left over Red Lobster down in the lobby.
This big (cute) guy asked me if it was warm enough for me (meaning my food).
Then he kind of stood around the counter. As I was walking up the stairs to go back to my room. He asked me who I was sharing that with.
I told him, "Just me. But it looks good eh"
He asked me Can I share it with you.
I just laughed, thinking he was joking
Then he asked again "Well, can I come and share it with you"
My response..."No." As I picked  up the pace. lol.

So I think we are heading to Duluth tomorrow morning. We were going to do the Zoo, but it is to hot out. So we figured we would go to Duluth, that way we are 1/2 way home for Thursday.

Hope your Tuesday was a creative one.

We are off to Minneapolis :)

Well we made it here to Minneapolis safe and sound. And by sound I mean, no alarms went off. Sorry to disappoint, because I know you all wanted to hear that they did :)
I picked up these beauties on this side of the border :) :)
My precious.
Now I know a lot of you ladies say that Georgia Pacific paper is pretty good for practicing with your copics. Well I have been unable to find this paper...until now!!
But I for some reason I don't think this will work. For one thing it is too thin.
But then again I don't think it is 110 lb weight, lol.
 Onto My Day:
We left the house at about 7:00am.
It was a hot one today. The temperature went up to 37C.
We kind of got lost on the way, lol. We ended up in Wyoming, lol.  Just Kidding.
We went to Scrapbooks Too, Burnsville Mall, Michael's, Barnes and Nobles and Target.
We also had supper at Red Lobster :)  Yummy.

Here are my purchases from Michael's.
Here are my purchases from Scrapbooks Too
Tomorrow Mall of America and Archiver's :)

Off to put my new colours in my Copic Journal :)

Beautiful Evening.

It was a beautiful evening.
The moon was full, and shining off the lake. Stunning.
We left camp a little early, not that we really wanted to, but we are off to Minneapolis tomorrow early in the morning and we need to pack and get ready.
I am so excited. I get my Copics tomorrow !!!!!
Then I get to colour in the colour spaces in my Copic Journal :)

Kristy wants to leave at 7:00 am. So I am off to bed early (I hope) tonight.
It is suppose to be crazy hot there. They are calling for 33C which should feel like 40Ctomorrow, so a hot one. Glad our hotel has a pool :)

Hope I don't set any alarms off going over the border, and don't hit any deer along the way.

Relaxing with some Zombie's.

Today was the most beautiful day.
It was perfect. It was a bit hot, but that's OK, when you have a lake near by.
I spent all of the day swinging on our lawn swing reading my book. Or in the lake, on the raft or swimming to the other side of the lake.
Everyone spent the day in the lake. And everyone got too much sun.
As you can see in the photo, I have my sunglasses on....lets just say I look like a raccoon now, lol.

Here is the book I read during the weekend. I know it isn't to most of your taste, but I love all types of books and horror is one of my favourites :)
I don't think I really have to describe this book to much, lol.
But it is about a mom/cop who is trying to save her and her family from the zombie apocalypse.

Ashley and her boyfriend went for a walk. During this time, Wayne and his dad saw an animal across the lake. Wayne thought it was either a cougar or a wolf. It was pretty far away to tell.
So Wayne and Kristy went on the quad to search for Ashley and Tyler. But they were on their way back so all was fine :)

Hope your Saturday was as great as mine.

My Window Envelope Tag Swap.

Here is a video of my Window Envelope with Tags, that I did for my swap.
I made one for everyone in the swap.

I think these ones are my favourites.
 Or maybe these ones.
But then again I do like these ones as well.
 Or maybe these ones, lol.

Today I had a lot of running around to do.
We are going to the States on Monday. So I had to exchange some dollar :)
Pick up travel insurance....I don't leave home without it ;)
And go to the hospital to get a form to say that I had that radioactive stuff shot through my veins. They said the border could detect the smallest traces of it. And sirens would sound and lights would flash.
I so hope that doesn't happen, I think I would be a bit embarrassed if it did.
Would give me something exciting to blog about though, lol

I am not as organized as I was last weekend as I didn't do a scheduled post for the weekend.
I may try to go to the motel and see if I can use their Internet, well see.

I hope you all have an excellent weekend. And here is to beautiful weather :)
