Too cold to camp.

Day 13 of 31 days of video's.

I needed an envelope for my nieces card I made. Because I didn't have one that fit perfectly so I altered one.

On to my day:

We didn't end up going to our camp/cottage this morning. Hubby woke up, checked the weather and then said I think we're staying home today. It was -33C and with the windchill -44C. Yup good day to stay home. It did warm up to -16C. According to my weather man, Wayne, it was still cold at camp. So planning on dropping off the stove later in the week.

Hubby and I went to Super Store for groceries.

I worked on Julia's mini album. It went slow today. I think I need to get back into my scrap/craft room. I know hubby likes when I am close to him, but I have to keep running downstairs to get more supplies.

Hubby is taking til the end of February off work. Love the man, I really do. But man that's a lot of together time.

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. And I hope you got some creative time in.

Tracy

  1. Isn't it funny how they want us to be close to them but they don't want to be close to us while were scrappin? Men are funny creatures I tell ya. No creating this weekend. The flu, or whatever it is, has gone through every member of my house and hit my oldest sone and myself today. I'm hoping to get back to my room soon. I feel it calling :0)

  2. Hey CC,

Since he'll have so much extra time on his hands, do you have a Honey Do list?

That is some serious coldness you got there. We have rain, which has been falling nonstop for the last 48 hours.

  3. Hello Tracy,
Or should I call you the spoiled Canadian? LOL
You always get the loot girl and have more coming. Tee hee.
Love the goodies and your envelope. I struggle with this all the time. Usually just ends up in two envelopes. Don't know why just do it that way.
Glad to be able to watch today. Stupid internet is being nice for the moment and I have been card making all day. Having lots of fun making a giant mess though;)

  4. I am jealous that you guys can have that much time off together! LOL! As for your camp decision - I think that was a good one! That is mighty chilly! We are expecting a frigid week here. It's 16 F. right now. Less than fun. I hope you have a wonderful week!

  11. Minus ANYTHING is too cold for me. I don't even care if it's Fahrenheit or Celsius either! The end of February - that's a nice vacation for him! Sort of makes me look forward to summer! :-)

  13. Wow, and I thought it was chilly here...Brr--We're downright balmy in comparison! I'm with mrsmorris, make DH a honey do list! My DH would only want to "help" when I'm crafting, which scares me even more, lol...Love the video! GREAT tip!

  14. If my husband were off until the end of February, I'd have to make sure he had a hobby and stuff to keep him busy! He hangs around the house for 2 days and he's antsy.
