Closed for the Season

We closed the cottage up for the season.

It did rain most of the day, but for the most part it was only a drizzle.
Just as we were leaving it started to pour, good timing for us ;)
We must have looked odd driving down the highway with a snow plow on the front of our truck, lol.
But we always bring it home on the last weekend of camp.

I can see us going up to the cottage a few weekends here and there before the snow comes.
But no water or fridge…thats as much roughing it as I want to do ;)

Wayne and I are tired and a bit sore from all the lifting and working we did this weekend, so we plan on watching some TV and relaxing.
Hope you all had a creative Sunday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Glad you are done. I know what you mean about going back up without benefit of water. Drag that it is!

But we do it too. Thank goodness though we have a laundry and shower house/bathroom on our block. So a short walk down and not too bad!

  2. I know you're sad that the cottage is closed, but part of you MUST be a little excited about all the crafting and TV you're about to get done!!!!

  3. Hope you guys had a nice relaxing evening after all that work!

  4. Super great work to get it done in one trip you both deserved a rest. It is always a sad time for us when we close the cottage as we don't go to stay in the winter as it isn't winterized. People probably thought you came from Alberta lol

  5. fall is upon us!
let's hope we dont have a harsh winter

  6. Yep, snow plough at the ready. After all winter is only just around the corner :-) Have a great week.

  7. Always a sad day I am sure! I hope the snow stays away for another month so you can enjoy the cottage a few more times this year! :)

  8. I'm sorry you had to close the cottage. But I'm impressed that you visit with no fridge or water. That's waaay more roughing it than I could manage!

Leave me some love and I will return it right back to you :)
