I got to see 2 of my good friends.
I went to Michael's.
And I bought my mini stand with my 40% off coupon...so take that Michael's...HA.
I have been trying to buy this stand for a couple of weeks now, but it has been on sale for 25% off.
If you know me, then you know I am thrifty...or cheap which ever, lol.
I had a 40% off coupon in my hand both times, and refused to only get 25% off.
Well today was my day. I used my coupon and received my 40% off :)
(the flowers are from Mother's Day :)
All Recollections stuff (besides the stand) was 40% off so I picked up these sweet mini tags :)
I also picked up (again Recollections) these journal tags for 40% off.
Onto My Day:
Kristy stayed home all day. She is feeling a little bit better tonight, so she is hoping to go to her Co-Op and school tomorrow.
Wayne was off all day as he had a doctor's appointment later in the afternoon. So decided to stay home.
My girlfriend Kelly came by for a visit. Love when my friends come and drop by :)
We went to Vanderwee's Greenhouse. They have so much stuff there, way more then just plants and out door stuff. But sadly they got rid of their crafts section years ago :(
Then we went to McDonald's as Kelly wanted to get my girls Smoothies, as Kristy wanted something cold for her throat.
Then after supper I called my girlfriend Debbie to meet me at Michael's.
It was so nice to get out with her again. We use to go out every Tuesday night. Just go to the mall, or go for a walk, just to spend time together. We haven't done that in awhile.
We then went to a few more stores, then went to Tim Horton's for coffee. Well she had an iced latte and me a chocolate milk and we each had a donut ;)

I may have not created a craft project, but there is nothing better then seeing your friends. I think that is pretty creative :)

Friends are great and seeing them is such a delight. Both of my best friends live hundreds of miles away from me, so when we get to see each other it is so nice. Glad you had a great time today, and the stand is very nice.

ReplyDeleteOkay Tracy, what's the stand for? I clicked on it and it says for scrapbook pages but we both know you haven't made a page in over a year. LOL! But then again, I haven't made one in over six months, so I might need to buy one of these stands too! Hahahaha! I love the idea of this though, just wish I had some pages to display in it ;) Those tickets and journaling tags are SO cute! I'm heading to Michaels today, right after Abie's talent show... Glad you got to spend time with your friends!

ReplyDeleteGreat shopping trip. My Michael's doesn't have that...actually they don't have much. The store shelves are very understocked and the whole store is such a mess. I hate shopping there. Very different than the ones where I have lived before.

ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed this post. Oh that's right I'm working on a very minimal amount of brain cells lately. All I try to understand is how am I going to get all this stuff into those little tiny boxes 8\ I haven't decided if I'm going to get the stands or not yet. It's one of the wait and see where I can put it kind of things. Actually everything is kind of like that right now. It's a great way to save money! LOL. Great way to spend your day with a friend!
