I was given this sassy image called Seduction Suzie.
I thought I would make this card for my FIL's birthday ;)
I think he will get a kick out of her ;)
I coloured her with my Copics, surprise, surprise ;)
I paper pieced her dress. Whenever I paper piece an image, I always add shading to the pattern paper. It gives it more dimension instead of it looking like it was just popped onto the image.
I added liquid pearls to her hair bands and added some shine to her eyes and lips.
I printed up the sentiment on my computer, I thought this is fitting for my FIL's card.
I couldn't make it girly, as its a masculine card, so I added some metal embellishments to man it up ;)

I just used some of the same papers from the front of the card and added a journal spot.

I haven't really joined any challenges before, but I thought I would give it a go.
*I am participating in Ashley's sketch challenge. It is a double page layout sketch, but I took the one side of the sketch layout and used it here for my card.
*I am also participating in my local scrapbooking store DAT'S challenge. It is to make a masculine card. Even though this card isn't your average masculine card, lol.
Onto My Day:
Every second Wednesday is my DT project, which has to be posted early in the morning, like I am still in bed early in the morning, lol.
So I can't post my day. So just imagine me enjoying an ice cold coke, sitting under my gazebo reading a wonderful book, trying not to get a sun burn in the heat of the day.
LOL, sorry that was me wishing how my day would be spent, lol.
I would be happy to see the sun for a few seconds as we have had a drab few days here, and if I was to be sitting outside, it would be with a warm sweater and a blanket, lol.

ReplyDeleteNice card. My liquid pearls never flatten out to a nice bulb like that. They are always pointy. (They might be old now though.)
