I had a wonderful day with my daughter Heather today :)
Heather and I (as do all of my daughters) have the same taste in movies.
We enjoy going out to a show every now and again.
Yes she is taller than me…as are all of my daughters.
But being 4' 11", its not really that hard to be taller than me ;)
There was an afternoon show for Devergent.
I have to say it was really, really good.
Both Heather and I really enjoyed it.
It wasn't until after the movie, that heather told me that there is a couple of books in this series.
I didn't even know this movie was made from a book.
I like to read the book before watching the movie…maybe I will still pick them up though.
I love a good book.
After the show, we went to Michael's. I was looking for some inks to use on my ATC's with watercolours. But came out of Michael's empty handed.
When we got home, I put supper together and then worked on my monthly card challenge.
I can't believe how fast this month is going by….as much as I can't wait for nicer weather and summer to get here, I still want the months to move a little slower.
I hope you all had a creative Monday :)
Tracy :)

It is crazy that there is just over a week left of April! I read all 3 books- was not a fanof the second one. S liked this movie evn more than the Hunger Games.
ReplyDeleteI have the first book here and am hoping to read it soon! Need to finish a few library books first. Glad to hear the movie is getting good reviews :)
ReplyDeleteGlad you got to spend the day with Heather and you liked the movie! I agree the month is whizzing right by and I don't like that!
ReplyDeleteGlad you had a good day with family.bet heather was happy to have you to herself!
ReplyDeleteIt is nice having daughter time just one on one. I will have to look out for that film. :)
ReplyDeleteNice to spend time with your daughter. looking forward to seeing your monthy challenge card. I have found time is just flying by these days. The income tax papers still are not sorted.
ReplyDeletewhat a wonderful way to spend the day!
ReplyDeletei stayed home yesterday to be with my kids and we had the best time. it was their last day of spring break
Nice that you girls got to spend some time together! I read the trilogy last year, it was pretty good. Was just wondering myself where April has gone!?! :)
ReplyDeleteAbie just finished the third book over the weekend :) Glad to hear the movie was good! What type of inks are you looking for for your ATC's? I didn't do anything crafty yesterday, but I did workout, that is sort of creative ;)
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to look that novel series up - I am currently obsessed with the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series which was made into Game of Thrones tv series. Thank you for your kind comments today. Have the Frameworks dies arrived in Canada yet?
ReplyDeleteI haven't made it to see this movie yet. It will probably have to wait until it hits Netflix. Which would give me time to read the books.....I'm going to check it out! Empty handed at Michaels???? How is that possible???? :)
ReplyDeleteSo nice that you could spend time with Heather :)
ReplyDeleteI have yet to watch Divergent..I've started reading the books, though, and they are really good so far :)
Glad you enjoyed the film. We bought the set of books at Costco for Shannon, for Xmas - she thoroughly enjoyed them. I think they still have the set for sale at the moment, if you have one local to you.
ReplyDeleteOh, I've looked at those books several times, but not bought them. Now I think I'll go see the movie first :D
ReplyDeleteIts sounds like you and Heather had a great time at the movies!
ReplyDeleteI've never read the book, but I also didn't see the movie! I usually like to read the book before the movie too. It usually takes me more than 2 hours to read the book, and I like to not know the ending when I'm reading!
