I started this book, that Ashley recommended to me, yesterday on our drive up here.
Finished it today.
The thing I really liked about this book is how the main character viewed people. They were all viewed the same, whether they were male, female, whatever their religion or colour or nationality or financial status.
As much as this book is fiction, I wish more people would think this way.
I went for a 3+ mile walk last night.
We had heavy rain on our drive here, but was beautiful when we got here.
Had a nice walk....besides the wet shoes and pant legs.
The rain brought out the mosquitoes, but I have discovered if I walk fast enough they can't catch me, lol.
I did go for a really good walk this afternoon. I really need to start earlier as it got pretty warm near the end of my walk.
I did get to play with my "big boy" camera. I ran out of things to take pictures of though.
I think Wayne was getting tired of me taking pictures of him. But then I reminded him, how irritated our girls got when he first got his camera. He followed our girls around taking their pictures, lol.
I hope you all had a Creative Day :)
Tracy :)
Wish that idea worked for me... The mosquito's love me and feast on me no matter if I ran or walked!
ReplyDeleteYour training is going great! Good for you!
I couldn't walk fast enough to get away from them. WTG with the walking, I hope they highwayisn't too busy. LOL at Wayne and getting his pictures taken, isn't he your ownly "victim"?
ReplyDeleteTracy, I can't believe how fast you read and way to go with your continued training! Hope you got some good results with your camera! :)
ReplyDeleteHmm, thought I had commented on this... I've been a little out of the loop this week :) This book sounds awesome!
