Take Out Treat Boxes

Every time I go to a crop with my friends, it gives me an excuse to make some type of treat boxes :)
I have always enjoyed making treat boxes and goodies for my girls classmates, but since my girls are all out of school and I have no one else to make them for.
So this way it is a win win…I have fun creating these and my friends enjoy the goodies inside ;)

I picked up these little take out boxes from the dollar store. I think they are meant for baby showers, but does it really matter…nope.
I used this stamp from Stampin' Up and coloured the cute little bunnies with my Copics.
I then punched out the circle and then used a scallop punch with a spring colour card stock.
I added a banner label on each box and a matching ribbon on the handle.
Lastly put some chocolate mini eggs inside :)
I did a very quick video on these cuties.

I hope you all had a very creative Monday :)

Winner, Winner, I'm a winner ;)

At the crop yesterday, I won a prize.
They drew a prize every hour and I was lucky enough to win the first one :)
My table was pretty lucky as out of the 4 of us, 3 of us won :)
There were 9 of us at the crop, but the tables were only set for 4 scrappers per table.
But we did get to all sit close. Well all except Lesli, they had her at the other side of the hall, all by herself…but we fixed that :)

Here is what was in my big blue basket of winnings :)
A little bit of everything….hair products, health products (Kristy claimed the water bottle), candy, make up and of course crafty goodies :)

The candy is from a company called Sugar Bees, so I thought it was cute that they had candy bees hidden in the candy jar :)

Today was a really lazy day….I mean really lazy. I didn't even unpack from the crop.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a creative Sunday :)

Scrap for Autism Cropping Event

I had a great time at the Crop for Autism event tonight.
It was a 12 hour event and as usual my friends and I had a blast!
Here is my Scrappin' Gang :)
And no, I am not taller than Lesli (Vintage Scraps), she is squatting so Lynne and Barb can be seen behind her ;)

And just like kids, I had to get them to take a nice photo before the silly one, teehee.
I am the one in the pink…just in case you wanted to know ;)

Lots of laughs were had.
I noticed the lady sitting behind me had some Copics,  so you know I had to go and chat ;)
Only to find out that she is a fellow blogger (Danderella) and we knew of each other's blogs. How fun was that :)

My friend Lynne (who seems to make an appearance in my blog quite a bit), finally finished her Massachusetts album. She has been working on this album for longer than I have known her…about 5 years.
She finally completed it tonight….2 minutes before 10:00pm.
We celebrated by blowing noise blowers, throwing streamers (which were  empty ATG refill strips) and Denise presented her with a mini bottle of champagne, lol.
Congrats Lynne :)

They drew prizes every hour at this crop and I was lucky enough to win the first one :)
I haven't had a chance to take photos, so more on that tomorrow.
But I did get a lot completed.
I finished the month of January in my Project 365.
I finished a page in my Smash book.
I also coloured an image and completed a challenge card :)
I got everything completed that I had planned on doing :)

I hope you all had a very creative Saturday.
Now off to dreamland for me :)

Packing for a crop and an Epic craft fail.

I am pretty excited!!
Tomorrow is Crop for Autism and my friends and I are attending it.
We love our crops :)
Mind you packing up for them…not so fun.

I knew I wanted to work on my P365, my Smash book, and a few card challenges I am in.
Also if I have time, maybe do some colouring just for fun.
So I just kept piling things, I thought I would need, on the table and see how I was going to fit them all in one container.
After seeing how much I had, I was thinking of just bringing my markers and colouring some images…now that would have been much easier ;)

Whenever I go to a crop I always bring the ladies at my table a treat.
This time I thought I would make some of those enamel dots out of the Perler beads and give them to my friends.

So I checked out a couple of videos and went to work.
I preheated my oven.
Put the beads on some parchment paper and put them carefully in the oven so they wouldn't tip over.
I started at 15 mins.
The first 5 minutes I saw some action…after that, not to much.
So after the time was done, I added 5 more minutes, then 5 more, then 5 more.

Then I had to bite the bullet and realize this is as good as they are going to melt.
Yup, it didn't work for me :(
Plus Wayne started to sneeze and they gave off a bit of an odour, even with the kitchen window opened.
I will try again when Wayne is at work. I don't want to give him an asthma attack or something.

I narrowed my packing down to 3 totes.
I put my journal tray away. I just took some journal cards and tags that I thought I would use…one less trip to make ;)

I enjoyed my Friday Night Scrapbooking. Not all of the ladies came as they still packing ;)
I hope you all had a very creative Friday.
I will be posting from the crop tomorrow evening :)

More Copic Combinations and a video

I thought I would share another page in my Copic Journal.

I have had a few requests for more colour combinations.
So here are two more brown combinations, a medium and a light brown.
I have posted and used 5 colours for their hair, but honestly I usually only use 3 colours.
I have also been asked to do some Copic colouring tutorials, but I'm still not sure on that one.
I honestly just wing it when I colour.
I don't really pay attention to where the light source is coming from.
And when I have watched other tutorials, I think to myself, "Man, I'm doing it all wrong", lol.
But I never say never, so we will see about that.

I did do a video today.
Just a short one sharing Blake's Birthday Card I had made on the weekend.
If you want to watch it on my Youtube channel click on my link "Tracy's Treasures24"
I hope you all had a very creative Thursday :)

Heather….my Artist

Today was spent working on organizing Heather's closet.
Now my Heather is uber organized…so much so that it is obsessive.
But she didn't want her dresser in her closet anymore.
So we moved it out.

Then we got side tracked with looking at her art work….which I may say should be framed.
We have a few of her pieces framed, but they are all so stunning.
I know I am a proud mama, but her art is amazing.
I wish she would keep it up, but hasn't drawn since finishing school.

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday.
I didn't get to be creative today as my eyes are burning. I get extremely dry eyes some days and today was one of them :(

Colour Swatch and a Night out with Friends

I put together my Coloured Pencil colour swatch.
I stamped the frames last week and coloured them all in today.
I used Gamsol to smooth and shade the pencil lines.
All those pretty colours just make me smile :)

Here is something else that makes me smile…my friends.
We started this tradition last year. We go out for dinner and then a movie to celebrate our birthdays.
It was Lynne's birthday last month and we finally got out to celebrate it :)
I am on the left, Lynne is in the back, Sharon on the right, and Denise is in the front :)

Lynne wanted to go out for Chinese food.
The lovely ladies who served us, noticed the gift bag, so sang Happy Birthday to Lynne (which they called Lamb chop) with a egg roll with a candle stuck in it.

Here is my fortune :)
We purchased a lottery ticket and marked down all of our fortune's lucky numbers on it.
The draw is tomorrow, here is hoping we win big ;)

This is the movie we went to see.
There were some funny parts to it.
I keep threatening that when it is my birthday, I am going to pick a scary movie, lol.
None of my friends like scary movies ;)

So my healthy eating didn't go very well tonight. I only ate until I was comfortable, but Lynne did make me eat a few pieces of liquorice ;)

I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Tuesday :)
