I have finally completed my April's pages in my Fauxbonichi.
I was so behind this last month….I have no idea why.
See all of those pretty red hearts…..those are the days that I walked over 10,000 steps, I did really good for this month.
I was even away on a trip and still got my steps in.
I also did pretty good on my goals for this month as well….go me :)
Here is a video flip through of my pages/days.
If you would rather watch it on my YouTube channel, just click on the link "Tracy's Treasures24" for a better view of the video :)
Onto My Day:
Everyone wanted to spend time with me today…I felt so loved, teehee.
My daughters wanted me to go shopping with them, Wayne wanted me to go shopping with him as well.
We could have gone all together, but Wayne didn't want to go to the mall, and the girls didn't want to go to Canadian Tire, lol.
So while Heather and Kristy were getting ready, Wayne and I ran to Canadian Tire to pick up a new BBQ.
When we came home, the girls and I went and picked up Ashley and we all headed to the mall.
It was really nice to spend the day with all of my daughters :)
I haven't ate at a restaurant or a fast food place in about a month….I sure wanted to have lunch at the food court, and I know if the girls would have asked, I would have caved, lol.
But I was good and came home for lunch :)
As Wayne assembled the BBQ, I tidied the work shed….boy, it needs a lot more tidying up in there.
I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)

Last FNS
Today was a happy yet, also a sad day.
Happy as it was Friday Night Scrapbooking and my friend Denise's birthday.
But sad as tonight was the last night for my FNS for a bit.
Summer is coming so we stop for the season, as so many of us are busy during the summer….me included.
So here was the gang tonight :)
As I had mentioned I am sad to know I won't be spending my Friday nights with these awesome ladies…but then again excited to be heading to our cottage in the next week or so.
A couple of my friends and I have decided that during the summer, we will get together one day during the week for some creative, friend time :)
Just have to figure a day that will work for all of us :)
I hope you all had a very Creative Day today.

Colouring gorjuss.
Last night my friend, Debbie, came over.
She had dinner with my whole family as Ashley was home as well.
Nothing better than having a full dinner table ❤️
As soon as dinner was done, I left the cleaning to my girls and Debbie and I headed downstairs for some colouring.
But boy was it fun.
We tried to match up the Gorjuss girl image colours with the packaging.
I don't think I have done that before.
But after doing this one, I am sure to try it again.
I have a video finalizing on my laptop right now, so blogging on my phone....not the easiest to do, so I will keep this short.
I hope you all had a very Creative Day.

My New Tea Kettle
Is it odd to be so excited for a tea kettle?
No…...well what if I told you I don't even drink tea.
Well, maybe 3 cups a year ;)
But isn't it such a pretty colour and so sleek.
This is my old tea kettle.
When Wayne and I got married, my SIL, Janice bought me a cute pitcher with little tiny strawberries on it.
When others saw it, everyone figured I collected strawberries.
I have a lot of strawberry themed items in my kitchen, lol.
As cute as this kettle is, it is a pain to clean the lid….see where the stem is…yup, not fun to clean.

One thing I am trying to do this year, is to get rid of, or replace things in my home that I don't like, that are hard to clean or take care of…well except for my family ;)
I keep this on my stove top, so my new one is so much easier to clean.
I was going to donate the strawberry kettle, but Wayne suggested I use it as a planter at camp…then said "Now I'm thinking like Tracy", lol.
I got to colour a bit today.
My friend Debbie came over and stamped some of my images and we coloured….such a great night.
I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)

You Are My FAV….layout.
I was debating on sharing these layouts.
For one, I don't have any photos for them yet.
And two, I made this page from a kit, designed by Vicki Boutin.
This detailed kit was the goodie bag, from the Crop & Create event…from 2013….told you I was a procrastinator, lol.
But I did do a few things differently.
These are not colours that I would normally choose.
I am not a big fan of the colour yellow, so I spritzed the card stock with some mists.
Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, I misplaced the envelope that came in the kit, so I used one I had on hand, then added some wood hearts I had painted.
I just love the banner embellishment that was included in the kit…love the stitching!!
Here is the second page to this 2 page layout.
The kit consisted of this 2 page layout, Two 1 page layouts and 3 cards.
I like to make 2 page layouts, so I find ways to cut down on my papers, so I can use them on both of the pages.
For example:
The black "Spread Your Wings" paper was to run the full length under the papers.
I cut two strips and put them on either side of the paper layers
I also cut the centres out of papers where photos or other papers will sit on.
For the black paper, the kit called to use chalkboard paper that was supplied in the kit…I wanted to save it, as I liked the other side of it.
So what I did was use black cardstock and chalked the paper with….chalk ;)
I am liking this embellishment layer here as well.
Here are both of the layouts side by side as they will be in my album…..when they get in an album.
Because I don't have photos for these layouts yet, I haven't done a title or journaling.
I may take some photos of my girls on Mother's Day for this layout…since the pocket lable is "You are my Fav." I surely can't put only one of my daughters on this layout ;)
I hope you all have a very Creative Day :)

Layering embellishments
Some more layering on my scrapbook layouts…..I am really liking this ;)
I had shared with you that on International Scrapbooking Day, my friend Lynne and I did some scrapbooking.
We completed 4 layouts each…just need some finishing touches.
Like photos ;)
We worked from the Crop & Create Goody Bag.
Which supplied all of the papers and embellishments (except for the ones I misplaced) with detailed cutting instructions.
If I remember correctly, I think this was from the 2013 event we went to.
The embellishment cluster I have shown in the photo is a bit different then what they had, as I had misplaced their tiny bag, so had to use one of my own and then I added the 3 hearts to it.
I will share the full layout in tomorrow's post.
I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)

Luna Love
I started this layout at Scrap for Heart back in February.
I was wanting to work on my layering and my friend Lesli (Vintage Scraps) came over to help me out.
She shared a layout/sketch with me…she has a ton of them saved on her iPad.
I didn't follow it exactly, but it gave me a good starting off point.
Lesli let me use her home made mist…it smelled soooo good, every time I look at this layout I can still remember the smell of her mists.
Sharon thought I was odd, as I kept smelling my layout…..it doesn't smell like the mists anymore, but I kept smelling it, lol.
I purchased these papers at a craft garage sale that someone had here in town..I really liked the ombre paper in the background….but as you can see, a lot of it is covered up….isn't that how it goes.
This "Love" tag was the finishing touches that I did the other day, I really like how I layered it on my hand cut banner.
Wow, this layout only took 3 months to complete, lol.
Isn't Luna adorable :)
I don't really need an answer….I know you agree ;)
These jumbo letters are so fun.
Not only are they humungous, but some of them have touches of velour on them.
I cut apart a doily here and layered a paper heart I cut out and a button and brad…..it seems like forever ago that I have used a brad.
And how purrrfect is that Love washi tape for this layout ;)
When I showed my layout to Heather, she said "It is nice…..but a lot of pink, don't you think".
Heather does not care for the colour pink, lol.
As much as I love this layout….the only problem I have with it, is that it is only a 1 page layout.
I am a 2 page layout kind of girl…..so we will see what goes on the other page once I put it in my album :)
I hope you all had a very Creative day :)
