Crop & Create's Goodie Bag

When I went to the Crop & Create event we all received this awesome goodie bag.
Look at all of these great products!!!
That fox is adorable...and I LOVE that deer head sticker as well....and how about those wood pieces...okay all of it is pretty great.

Not only did we get this awesome goodie bag, we also got one of their magazines!!!!
How great is that!!
I love a good scrapbooking magazine and "Scrapbook & Cards Today" is a great one :)

Catherine knows that I hold crops in my home, so she also gave me their Creative Cards magazine to give out at my crop.
How sweet is she!!!

Already looking forward to next year :)

I hope you all have a very creative day :)

Be Happy Layout

Here is another layout I made with the Goody/Thank You kit I received last year from the Crop & Create event.
These photos are when my friend Debbie and I went to Mink Mountain last month.

I used my own card stock for the background to make my kit stretch.
The first layout is what I made out of the left over papers

If you look at the second page to this layout, I cut a big chunk of pattern paper out, to use on the above layout.
I love the banner embellishment that came in the kit so much, that I made one.

Here is the banner embellishment I made to mimic the one from the kit.
I also added gold embossing to the one fish tail, but not noticeable in this photo.
The original banner had gold foil on it.

The instructions called for me to fussy cut some butterflies out of some  gorgeous butterfly paper…I just couldn't do it.
So what I did was add these adhesive butterflies. I think I purchased them from the dollar store.

I really like how these turned out and I think it is fun to go through some pre-made layouts and just add photos :)

I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)

Crop & Create Layout

Another 2 page layout from the Crop & Create Goody/Thank You kit :)
Ironically enough, these photos are from that same event.
This first layout was from the kit, the second layout I made with the extra papers….or the paper I cut the centres from.

These layouts were made just before Summer when I had my friend Lynne over to create with me.
She and I worked on these layouts together :)
To make my kits stretch, I used my own card stock for the background paper.
I also cut the centre out of the 1st layout and used it on the 2nd layout so they would tie in with each other.
I also added my hexagon die to both layouts as well…isn't this such a fun die cut…plus it goes nicely with the hexagon background paper :)

I had mentioned that Lynne and I worked on these together…..I shared with her how I make my kits stretch, and she joined in :)
Here are both of our layouts together to see the difference.
Mine is on the top….which I see I had changed up a bit, teehee.
Lynne's is on the bottom….She used the side of the paper that the kit called for….I just had to change mine up a bit, teehee.
As you can see, Lynne used her chevron punch as it matched her papers nicely :)

Hope you all had a very creative day :)

You are my Fav….layout.

I should be packing up for the Crop & Create event that I am attending this weekend.
But instead, I am completing some layouts from their kits I purchased last year.
This layout is from last years Goody/Thank You kit :)

These layouts were designed by Vicki Boutin.
I followed her design pretty much exact :)
I did add some spray mists to the yellow card stock for some added interest and well….yellow is not one of my first picks in colour ;)

I didn't have the envelop/bag that was supplied in the kit.
But I had one similar :)
I just added some wood veneer hearts that I had painted red and the heart shaped paper clip.
Don't you just love this layered embellishment under the envelope :)

As well as this fun cluster of embellishments :)
I may have shared this layout before, but I had just added photos to it.
That is one benefit of having some pre-made pages done :)

I hope you all have a very creative day :)

You Are My FAV….layout.

I was debating on sharing these layouts.
For one, I don't have any photos for them yet.
And two, I made this page from a kit, designed by Vicki Boutin.
This detailed kit was the goodie bag, from the Crop & Create event…from 2013….told you I was a procrastinator, lol.
But I did do a few things differently.

These are not colours that I would normally choose.
I am not a big fan of the colour yellow, so I spritzed the card stock with some mists.
Like I mentioned in yesterday's post, I misplaced the envelope that came in the kit, so I used one I had on hand, then added some wood hearts I had painted.
I just love the banner embellishment that was included in the kit…love the stitching!!

Here is the second page to this 2 page layout.
The kit consisted of this 2 page layout, Two 1 page layouts and 3 cards.
I like to make 2 page layouts, so I find ways to cut down on my papers, so I can use them on both of the pages.
For example:
The black "Spread Your Wings" paper was to run the full length under the papers.
I cut two strips and put them on either side of the paper layers
I also cut the centres out of papers where photos or other papers will sit on.

For the black paper, the kit called to use chalkboard paper that was supplied in the kit…I wanted to save it, as I liked the other side of it.
So what I did was use black cardstock and chalked the paper with….chalk ;)

I am liking this embellishment layer here as well.

Here are both of the layouts side by side as they will be in my album…..when they get in an album.
Because I don't have photos for these layouts yet, I haven't done a title or journaling.
I may take some photos of my girls on Mother's Day for this layout…since the pocket lable is "You are my Fav."  I surely can't put only one of my daughters on this layout ;)

I hope you all have a very Creative Day :)

Layering embellishments

Some more layering on my scrapbook layouts…..I am really liking this ;)

I had shared with you that on International Scrapbooking Day, my friend Lynne and I did some scrapbooking.
We completed 4 layouts each…just need some finishing touches.
Like photos ;)

We worked from the Crop & Create Goody Bag.
Which supplied all of the papers and embellishments (except for the ones I misplaced) with detailed cutting instructions.
If I remember correctly, I think this was from the 2013 event we went to.

The embellishment cluster I have shown in the photo is a bit different then what they had, as I had misplaced their tiny bag, so had to use one of my own and then I added the 3 hearts to it.

I will share the full layout in tomorrow's post.

I hope you all had a very Creative Day :)
