I was searching all over for these. I do have a LSS, but she is closed on Monday's, so I will phone tomorrow and see if she carries them. I kind of have my doubts though.
I found one place online that has 3 of them.
But to ship them (to my U.S pick up place) by Friday, I will have to pay $25.00.
I did see that Joann's on-line sells them also, I wonder if they sell them in the actual store.
We don't have a Joann's here. But I will be going to one with weekend :)

And yes Becky, you are probably correct in why it takes me soooo long to complete a project ;)
I am almost finished my second page.
It does not look like I am going to be completed by my goal date of Thursday.
I just can't seem to take the short cuts. Sometimes I wish I could, but I can't.

ReplyDeleteI wish you luck in finding your advent calendars. I made a cookie sheet one a couple of years ago, that is all glittery and shiny.
The kids get a little house, that I fill with messages and usually a little gift to open each day of advent. My girls used to get the kind with a chocolate each day.
I am always organizing yet I am never truly organized enough, especially this time of year. I would love to do an advent calendar for my kids, I would love to do elf on a shelf, I would love to finish a christmas banner I started 3 years ago for my fireplace. Alas this year will probably not happen so maybe I will end my year planning for next year. I have so many things packed into these three months it makes my head spin. I really need to start planning in July.
ReplyDeleteThat advent calendar is really cute. My new meds have fiercely sparked my creative juices but I have to have stupid holidays and vacations. I know what a crappy life I have ;) I'm sending you out a box before I leave for Disney. I'm hoping by Wednesday. I'm sending it express so it should be there in 6 -10 days I think it said.

ReplyDeleteNow THAT is awesome! I hope you get them, I can only imagine four Tracy original Advent calendars!!!!! Sweet! I've been thinking my Advent calendar needs an upgrade this year... Might have to check out Joanns :) Oh, and about the short cuts, don't even think about it, you would be mad at yourself with the end result :)

ReplyDeleteWhen we had out LSS, they had these, but our J's does not carry them, but ours is probably THE crappiest J's there is anywhere. Good luck in finding the amount of these you need! I can't wait to see how they turn out!!!

ReplyDeleteOh, that will make a super cool advent calendar! All the fun goodies you could put in each of the boxes to open every day. Very cool! I've never seen these at my Joann's because I would have picked one up if I had! I'm able to get a lot of great stuff through Joann.com that I never find in the store....I bet this is one of them! But have fun shopping anyway. :)
