Onto My Day:
Today Heather and I stacked all the boxes of my bookwork, photo copier, filing cabnets and fax machine all ready for the new company to come and pick up.
A bit emotional...but like everything in my life..I'll get over it ;)

ReplyDeleteI can understand how you feel about new owners and no longer doing your bookwork. I am a Chartered Accountant, so I know how much a business ownership transition can be emotional. Your business is one of your baby's sometimes! You and Wayne sound like you have LOTS of activities and hobbies, though, so I am sure you find all kinds of things to fill your time though!
Never, never bored. Always love to see other peoples creativeness. You'll be glad. 2 down and only one to go!

ReplyDeleteno, I'm not bored with them, but I am getting tired of having mine unfinished and hanging over my head. I hope to get busy on mine again today ... maybe I'll actually get it finished.
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a huge change for you. Seeing the empty spaces where all the office equipment and data used to live. You will be happy one minute for no more 3 a.m. marathon paperwork finishing. Next you will have a nagging feeling that something needs to be done. You guys deserve this break after all the years of hard work you put in the business.
