Guess what I have been up to ........playing catch up again.
I have a note book where I post my YouTube, Blog, Facebook and Pinterest posts and if I posted to them all.
Well, I took a good look at it yesterday and noticed that I had a lot of unchecked boxes.
For the next week or so, I am going to check those boxes off...cause now that I know, I need to check them off, lol.
I noticed that this layout was checked off and I posted a video of it to my YouTube channel, but not here on my blog!?!?
I even checked back and couldn't find it...so here it is :)
I made this layout to document my friend and I in our 1st (and probably last) 1/2 marathon!!
I was so proud of myself and Deborah for not only doing this, but for completing it and for coming in 2nd and 3rd!!
Look at the medal we received for completing the marathon!!
We wanted to finish the race at the same time, so we put our arms around each other and crossed the finish line together.
It was a bit emotional.
When Debbie asked me if I would do this with her, there was no other answer except....yes!!!
I am game for almost anything.
And I am so happy that I was the one she thought to ask to join her on this journey 💗
Like I mentioned above, I have a video on this page.
If you would like to watch it on my YouTube channel, just click the link "Tracy's Treasures24"
Thank you all so much for joining me today and I hope you all have a very creative day.
Tracy 💗💗💗

Scrap for Heart 2017
This past Saturday was the Scrap for Heart Crop Event!!
I love a good crop ;)
I have been going to this event every February since 2011.
My friends and I always have a great time...but with my friends it would be hard Not to have a great time :)
With all of the chatting, visiting and walking (yes my friend and I would take breaks and walk...got in my over 10,000 steps that day!) I did complete 6 layouts.
2 of which I have photos on...which Kristy says is all I got done. Because in her eyes a layout isn't complete unless it has photos.
I made a little kit to do pages for the 1/2 Marathon my friend Debbie and I completed in 2014.
I had been bringing this little kit for these pages to every crop I have attended.
I was determined to complete it at this one.
Here is the second page to this layout.
I saved the newspaper from that day with our times and a bit of a write up of the event.
Simple layout...but I like how they turned out :)
Here are a few of my friends and I.
This photo was taken later in the evening, so a few of our friends had left already.
It was a PJ theme crop.
I am not one to go out in pyjama pants, but at the last minute decided to just go with the flow, lol
Can you believe I only brought one tote for a 12 hour crop!!!
I couldn't and neither could any of my friends, teehee.
To make it easier on myself, I just brought some kits, extra matching papers for the kits (as I like to extend my kits) adhesive, trimmer and scissors.
Ok, ok, I also brought some punches, mini stapler and anything else I could fit in the tote, but still only one :)
But truth be told, I did bring a small bag with the treat bags I made for my friends and my munchies ;)
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

Nice day for a Marathon
Wow, what a day today was.
I was so nervous and excited I could hardly believe it.
I must have been a bit anxious as well, because last night I kept having dreams that they wouldn't let me do the marathon as I didn't listen to the co-ordinators spiels, lol.
Here is my friend Debbie and I at my house before my honey drove us to the race.
We thought it would be crazy there, so figured it would just be easier for him to drop us off there.
Man it was chilly waiting for the marathon to start.
It was 8C (46F) it was also a bit windy….it was perfect once we started moving though.
The smiley lady in the front, is Debbie's sister Brenda. Brenda ran the whole 1/2 marathon!!!
And off we go…..
I had never thought I would do a marathon…let alone finish one.
Debbie and I came in second and third for our 1/2 walking marathon.
We wanted to start and finish the marathon at the same time.
So when we got to the finish line we put our arms around each other and walked on the finish mat at the exact same time :)
I was a bit teary eyed crossing the finish line…but I sucked it up ;)
I'm thinking we look pretty good here for just finishing our marathon :)
We even got a medal :)
We did 13.1 miles in 3 hours and 14 minutes :)
We were 2nd and 3rd overall in the walking category.
Best time we had ever walked during our training :)
Now how to scrapbook this milestone event
Thank you for all the encouraging words you have all left me :)
There were many spectators encouraging us all during the whole marathon.
It really helped keep everyones spirits up.
Really touched my heart.
I hope you all had a Creative Sunday.
Now for my next adventure, which starts tomorrow ;)

Exciting day today.
First I went to pick up my race/marathon packet :)
Here is the shirt I received…I like it :)
So encouraging, they have faith that we are all going to finish the marathon ;)
Here is the back of the shirt with the date of the marathon and the sponsors.
Tonight was the first night of my Friday Night Scrapbooking night :)
I wasn't sure if I was even going to be able to have it as Ashley wants to go to Duluth to look at wedding dresses.
The poor girl is so overwhelmed, and all the shops tell her she should have her dress picked out and ordered about a year or so before the wedding.
So we decided to take a day trip to Duluth to check out David's Bridal.
She looks beautiful in every dress she tried on, but she hasn't found the "one" yet.
Her "soon to be" MIL came with us yesterday when we went wedding dress shopping and also told Ashley that any dress that she picks, she will look beautiful in :)
I totally agree.
So early morning for me as the drive is about 3.5 hours…4-5 hours with the construction on the highway.
I hope you all had a creative Friday :)

Training for my Marathon
Lots of walking today :)
I wasn't sure if my friend Debbie was able to go for our walk tonight, so I did a 70+minute walk in the morning.
She then texted me to let me know she was going walking tonight.
Our 1/2 marathon is this Sunday!!!!
So I was up for another walk :)
Lets just hope that the weather holds up for Sunday :)
Hope you all had a very Creative Monday :)

Step my Walk ;)
Day 3 of our training for our 1/2 marathon :)
Tonights walk was around Boulevard Lake :)
Isn't this just a beautiful view behind Debbie and I :)

Here is the view around the lake.
Gorgeous isn't it :)
There were quite a few people out tonight going for a walk.
I have never thought of myself as competitive, but when someone walking ahead of us, I would tell Debbie…"we can catch up to them and pass them", lol
And we did ;)
I remember doing this a few years ago when I would walk by myself.
Funny as I think this is the only thing I am competitive with.
Here was our route tonight.
We just took a short one tonight. 5.62 km's (3.5 miles)
Here we were before our walk yesterday :)
I don't realize how short I am, until I take these selfies with my friends, teehee.

And here is what we saw on our walk yesterday :)
We walked the pathways and then around the golf course and back.
This cutie just walked past us.
Why did the deer cross the road….to get to the better greens ;)
Get it…we were on a golf course….well I thought it was clever ;)
Debbie and I have been using the app. Map my Walk.
Just as we were to compare stats, my phone died.
I went home to recharge it.
I thought it was funny that it still Mapped my drive, lol.
We walked 10.69 km's (6.64 miles) not the 18.32 km's it states on my stats.
I hope you have a Creative Day :)

Training for a marathon
If you remember last week I had mentioned there was a milestone that I was working on....
My (crazy) friend Debbie suggested I join her in running this marathon in our town.
And as crazy as I am, I joined right along.
Debbie was so sweet to reassure me that there will be aid stations along the way, lol
Oh ya, and we get a medal when we cross the finish line :)
A 1/2 marathon is 13.1 miles, or 21 kilometres.
Today was our first day of training.
We walked 10.87 kg in 1hour and 44 minutes.
I don't think that is too bad, considering we both have a couple problems with our feet..and our knees, oh ya and back, lol.
On our next one I need to bring a box if Kleenex with me. I still have a bit of my cold and went through all the Kleenex I had with me, lol.
It isn't until September so we have plenty of time to train.
I keep thinking of the great scrapbbook layout we can make when we complete this ;).
Hope you all had a Creative Day :).
Tracy :)
