My Week in Photos

Lets start with today :)
As you can see we are at our Lake...so nice to be back here for the season.
Such a gorgeous view.

Last weekend was the May Long weekend, we celebrate it by crafting at my SIL's camp :)
Her camp is close to the US border and my daughter asked us if we could pick up a parcel for her she had there.
So we decided to make the most of this little excursion and went to the casino for dinner.
While there, Sharon had to play a few slots....she even won a bit of cash :)

This is what happens when my girls get a hold of my phone...silly girls :)

Another beautiful view.
This is from my SIL's deck...beautiful Lake Superior.

When we came home from Sharon's camp, I had noticed these pretty bugs on my lilies.
Come to find out that the multiply like crazy and are destroying my plants.
So I picked them off of my plants...there were over 20 of these guys and I keep checking for more every day.

Ashley and Tyler needed a pet sitter, so I went over to check on Oscar and Sebastian.
For some odd reason, Oscar was very calm and sat beside me most of the time I was there.
Usually he is all jumpy....but he was a good doggy :)

Can't forget about Sebastian :)
The good child of the two.

Today Luna surprised us by jumping on top of the cupboards.
She used to do this all of the time when she was a kitty, but not so much lately.
She was up there watching Heather cut up some chicken.
She was happy when Heather gave her some.

I hope you all have a great creative weekend :)

Documenting my blog

I have always wanted to print out my blog.
So I thought I would give it a go.....not realizing how long it would take, or how much paper I would need.
Each month takes almost 100 pages…per month!
See this stack of blog posts...this is only 2 months worth, January and February for 2010.

I have a long way to go.
Look at how cute Sebastian is.

He is such a good kitty... Unlike his crazy puppy brother.
When I went to take Oscar for a walk today, I noticed stuffing all over the floor.

Poor BooBoo stuffy.
So I played fetch with him for a long time before taking him for a walk.

I wish I could bottle some of his energy.

Can you believe tomorrow is the last day of 2015!!!

Pet Sitting

Well look at this cutie :)
This is Oscar, my daughter and son-in-law's puppy.
They are away on a trip so my SIL's sister and I are taking care of their animals

Remember how I said he was a cutie…well he is…but a hyper active cutie.
He loves to jump up on everyone and likes to nip on things.
Today he got my mitt off of my hand, then picked it up and ran away with it….little stinker.

Even though Oscar gets a lot of attention due to his demand for it….Sebastian is just as loved.
He is hiding under the kitchen table waiting for the demon dog to come in from outside, lol.

I picked up some training treats and have been trying to get Oscar to sit and stay.
He is understanding the sit…but not the stay command so much, lol.
He is also very excitable when going on his walks…but he was so good today when I walked him.
He let me put on his collar without jumping crazily and even walked beside me for the walk…so proud of him :)

I haven't been on the internet that much lately…hence no blog posts from me..or me visiting all of your blogs.
I have just been enjoying the holiday with my family and friends, relaxing and eating too much sweets (and lots of pop) and yummy junk food.
I know one of my New Years goals for 2016

Hope you all had (having) a wonderful Holiday :)

Sneaky Squirrel

How funny is this photo.
It was taken by Tyler (Ashley's fiancé).
The other day Heather and Kristy went to Ashley's house to do their holiday baking.
I am pretty sure these are peanut butter balls cooling off out on her deck.
It looks like Mr. Squirrel wanted to test them out, lol.
I love that Sebastian is keeping an eye on Mr. Squirrel.
What a perfect photo :)

I hope you all had a very Creative Tuesday :)

Sebastian, such a pretty boy

Today was the day that Ashley picked up her new kitty cat :)

She adopted Sebastian through an organization called Kitty Care.
They rescue cats from the Humane Society that only have a limited time there before they are sadly euthanized because of lack of space.
Kitty Care is run by volunteers who take in these abandon cats until they can be placed in a loving home.
They ask for a donation and also that you sign a paper agreeing to get the cat spayed or nurtured.
Such a wonderful organization.

Isn't he beautiful :)

I took so many photos of him with my cell phone. But none of them turned out, as he was so busy running here and there, playing with his new toys that Ashley bought him.
 Such an active little guy.
I have to say from this profile and and how his fur is by his side of his head, reminds me of our beloved Rose.

Here is a picture showing his eyes.
They are a yellowy/orange colour.
Such a pretty kitty.

Many of you had asked, how did we kitty proof her home.

I had to think like a cat, lol.
There were a few odd jobs that needed to be done to Ashley's house.
Not all the grates were on the vents, as the previous owners only put a couple of screws in each vent as I guess they had lost them. We needed to pick up more bolts to cover up the vents as we didn't want Sebastian to crawl through them.
Ashley's sump pump is exposed. Because it is an older house, we couldn't find a cover to fit the hole. So I had to find a way to cover them up.
There is a electrical box on the inside of a hall closet. I had painted the doors, but didn't put the doors back on. So I had to do that, as we didn't want Sebastian to get in there.
I hope we took care of everything so this little guy stays safe.

I hope you all had a creative Thursday :)
