I had created this layout back in May.
But I forgot to finish the journaling.
I knew what I wanted to write, I had it written on a piece of paper, but there wasn't enough room on my layout.
I was going to type it out on velum, but decided against it as I love the paper so much I didn't want to mute those pretty flowers. I wanted to journal directly on the pattern paper.
Here is my 2 page layout together.
I really like how I did the title.
When looking at the title it reads "Dream Crop"
And I love these letter stickers. They are very old letters from K&Company.
I had to alter a few letters as I didn't have them all. I made a "N" into the "R" in the word "crop" and the "M" in "dream" is an upside down "W"
But lets take a closer look at the layouts.
This first page is titled "Prepping for My Dream.
So this page is dedicated to getting ready for my 13 hour crop that I hosted back in May.
Such pretty paper by DCWV.
The second page is dedicated to the actual day of the crop and is titled "Spring is on its Way Crop" as that is the name that I gave to my crop.
Here are photos of my friends and I enjoying our day :)
Journaling Reads:
My dream has been to have all of my scrapbooking friends over for a crop.
Even though some of them come over for my Friday Night Scrapbooking nights, I wanted a crop where all of us could create together.
So with Wayne's hesitant permission, I took great care in making a protective table top for his pool table.
I hosted a 13 hour crop on National Scrapbooking Day. We all had a blast.
Everyone had a wonderful time and said it was the best crop that they had attended
You guessed it, I made a video on this layout as well.
I am thinking I need a new video camera as the colour is still off and the picture isn't that clear :(
If you would rather watch it on my YouTube channel, just click on the link "Tracy's Treasures24"
I am linking my layout to "Feed your craft board"
They are having a challenge in memory to our beloved 2peas in a bucket site that closed down recently.
I am so happy that Elise started this new forum for us like minded scrapbookers and card makers to get together and share our thoughts and creativeness with each other.
We would love it if you came over to the new forum and joined up…all the ladies are so friendly…but then again aren't all of us crafters friendly ;)
Here is the link "Feed your Craft Board"
Hope you all had a Creative Day :)

Spring is on its Way Crop
I have to say that I think my Crop was a great success last night :)
Everyone had a great time!
I have been getting messages off and on all day from my friends telling me how much fun they had…it just warms my heart :)
Most of my friends brought dips or treats.
I thought it was sweet that a couple of them brought me hostess gifts of Coca Cola ;)
I made the cupcake toppers, but not the cupcakes ;)
I was given these frames at the Crop & Create event we attended last year.
I thought Ashley could use them in a photo shoot, but they worked perfectly for our gathering :)
I have to say the pool table makeover was a huge success!!!!
There were 7 of us at this table with plenty of room.
I did clean off the computer desk so there were 2 extra places to work at, but we didn't need them :)
Look at the ladies working hard on their projects :)
Because we were downstairs I advised the ladies that they may want to bring a light sweater and some slippers…but as the night went on, I ended up turning the heat down….I guess thats what happens when your menopausal friends get hot flashes, teehee.
I drank more pop then I realized, lol.
But hey, it was a party ;)
These two are just having too much fun.
I can't remember what they heck they were laughing at, but this picture makes me want to laugh, right along with them again :)
Maybe I should have put some plastic on the chairs as well as the table, lol.
Most of my group photos turned out blurry :(
Even so, we will remember this day.
I had draws though out the day and evening.
I put together some creative goodies to give away, and a door prize.
I was pleasantly surprised that Lesli (Vintage Scraps) also put together some giveaway bags and a door prize as well. So the ladies won some fun goodies :)
I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Sunday :)
Wayne and I did a run to the border and chilled the rest of the day.

Let the Decorating Begin :)
Before I share all the fun decorating I did for my "Spring is on its Way" Crop, I have to give HUGE thank you's to my husband Wayne for letting me take over his pool table. Thank you so much, I don't think your realize how happy I am to have done this.
I also have to thank my daughters who helped me clean, decorate, prepare the food and goodies.
I thought it was so sweet last night, when they asked me if there was anything else I might need help with.
When I told them no, I thought it was all ready. They asked…so we can go to bed now?
Such sweet girls I have.
I also have to thank Tyler for lending me his Tassimo machine and making some awesome balloon flowers :)
Sounds like I am giving an acceptance speech, lol.
My friend Barb brought me these flowers today, so I thought I would share them as they became part of the decor…plus they are so pretty :)
Everyone came in through the side door, as it is the most direct route to downstairs.
Less distance to carry their supplies :)
So I displayed my bunny collection and my Spring garden girl I had made years ago.
I thought this was a cute welcome.
At the bottom of the stairs Kristy hung some balloon flowers that they made and I twisted some crepe paper as stems.
I added a vase of flowers in-between my book cases.
Remember the deer rug and antlers hung here?
I took them down and replaced them with some more balloon flowers and some of my scrapbook layouts for both decor and inspiration.
Don't worry Wayne, your stuff will be back up there soon…even though this looks so much prettier ;)
I put my scrapbooks, some scrapbook magazines and some idea/sketch books in the white unit you see under the window.
I also stored the door prizes and draw goodies in a bag in there…more on that in tomorrows post.
Here is the pool/craft table all decked out.
I added some candy in the 4 tiny bowls.
I put together some treat boxes with some crafty supplies for everyone who attended.
I wanted an area for us to take some photos.
So Ashley put together this accordion flower wall for us.
Sadly when I woke up this morning many of them were on the floor….but nothing a bit more tape couldn't fix ;)
I made this "Create" banner.
Not a great photo, I will take close ups of it tomorrow.
I made it with doilies and a banner die cut. I also added butterflies to each banner.
The treat table :)
This is actually a small computer desk. I just covered it with the worlds thinnest table cloth…but then again, what would I expect for a dollar ;)
Heather and Kristy really wanted me to get these popcorn containers.
Kristy was thinking of putting the chocolate treats in them, but the containers were to big. So instead we used them for chips. That way they could bring the chips to their spot in these containers.
If you know me then you know I don't like the smell of coffee and hate the taste.
So Tyler (Ashley's boyfriend) let me borrow his Tossimo machine. It was great!!! I didn't have to smell coffee all day and I even got some fru fru coffee.
I had no where to put my heavy treadmill, so just folded it up.
I posted a video of a walk through of the whole room before anyone arrived.

I hope you all had a very create National Scrapbooking Day, I know I sure did :)

Spring is on its Way Crop Invites
Today was spent organizing my rec-room for a 13 hour crop that I am going to be hosting on National Scrapbooking Day on May 3rd :)
I am so excited about it, I can hardly wait!!!
Ashley was helping me with the plans, Kristy and Blake were helping me with the heavy lifting :)
I spent the rest of the evening making the invites :)
I had coloured this card last night for a friends mom's birthday, I will share that one in more detail in another post.
But then I photocopied the card for the invites and stamped "create" on each one.
I am so impressed with how well they turn out.
I had done this a few Christmas's ago with my Christmas cards. The copied ones turn out a bit lighter, but still excellent quality.
I hope you all had a very creative Saturday :)
