Smokin' Boots

Ohhhhhh look at these sexy boots!!!
Should I or shouldn't I?!?

Had a little visit to Michael's.
You would think that after my major creative shopping spree last month that I shouldn't even walk into a craft store……but…...
Found some new Heidi Swapp washi tape…we all need more washi right?

Stopped into McFrugal's and picked up a couple of stamps..each were under $2.00, how could I not?!

Stopped off at Dollarama and couldn't resist these candy dots :)
I have a project I want to do with these huge google eyes…not that I would get it done this year, lol.

Oh and if you are wondering….yes, those boots came home with me, teehee.

What really sold me on these boots was a text I received from Ashley after I showed her the above photo…asking her "Should I?"
Here response " Those are cute, yes you should!"
"Wear them with all black and a nice scarf with that colour in it"
Then I went back a got them.
I was telling the sales girl about the text.
The sales girl states "I bet you both wear the same size"
Good play Ashley, good play.

I had a great day….I was suppose to clean and decorate for Fall…but instead, I went for lunch with Ashley's MIL, then we went shopping.
Always a great time when we get together :)

I hope you all had a creative day :)

Last of the creative Goodies :)

I think these are the last of my creative goodies I had found on our trip.
Funny thing is, all of these purchases were made on the first day of the trip and I'm only now sharing them ;)
These goodies I picked up from Scrapbooks Too.
I was very impressed with their inventory this time :)
They rearranged the store and seem to have a lot more product.
Which made me very happy.
I picked up a few new Prima Doll stamps and some of their pretty tags :)
I also found the Tim Holtz spritzer.

We dropped our girls off at Burnsville mall then Wayne and I checked out Michaels.
I was happy to find some Heidi Swapp stencils :)
These little wood veneer pieces were $1.99 for each package :)

We then stopped in Jo-Anns.
Wayne really wanted me to get the Wood paper pack, so I couldn't disappoint him ;)
I thought the gauze paper was interesting.
Picked up some more tags for my monthly tags as I am out. Plus they are less then 1/2 the price they are here. I usually make my own out of file folders though.

Onto My Day:
I didn't do nearly the things I had planned on doing today.
I did go grocery shopping, not that I wanted to, but because I had to. We didn't have any bread or milk in the house, lol
I actually texted Wayne to tell him there is no food in the house, so if he was coming home for lunch, could he please bring me something as well, lol.
They make pretty good sub sandwiches at Tim Hortons ;)

I did get to play a bit tonight.
I played with my new coloured pencils :)
I have never used Gamsol to blend with coloured pencils before.
But more on that in another post :)

I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Monday.
I had a creative Monday, not sure if it was wonderful as we are in the middle of a snow storm…and its not even April fools day yet ;)

Shopping, I never tire of it ;)

Today has been a long, fun and exciting day.
We are in Minneapolis as a whole family!!
Wayne and Ashley took today off work. Heather and Kristy didn't have to work today...and I'm retired ;)
So our day started off very early.

Here is what we have done today.
It goes perfectly with Canadian Scrabookers photo challenge for today.
I guess you want to see some of my crafty purchases ;)
Here are my goodies from Archivers. I was so excited to find this pillow box punch board !!
If I had adhesive with me, I would have whipped up a few of these :)
I found the actual pillow boxes that Becky had posted of on her blog at Target. Thanks Becky :). http://fourthouseontheright.blogspot.com/2013/11/easy-wrapping-for-small-gifts.html?m=1
I picked up all but the green letters from Archivers as well.
I also purchased a 17x23" making memories black self healing cutting mat.
Scrapbooks Too was our first stop. I was a bit disapointed with my findings there :(. I usually find a lot there. Maybe I bought it all last month when I was there, lol.
I really love the paper with the numbers. I do my December Daily for the whole month, but most of the Christmas numbers only go to the 25th.
Joann's was another small haul.
Lastly was michaels.
I had a couple of 50% off coupons, so Wayne used one as well. For me of course ;)
I wanted a certain product and it was the last one. I noticed it was taped shut, so thought I should look at it first. You could clearly see that one of them were used, there were 2 to a pack. But I still could make it work for what I needed it for, but not for full price.
Talked to the manager, she told me she will give me 50% off the price.
I told her I was going to use my coupon for it and 50% off for an unused product, yes, but 50% off a used product that I can only use one of isn't worth it.
So I got it for 75% off :)
I think that is all of my purchases besides some Bear Claws chocolate from Cabelas ;).

I looked all over for today's photo for day 6 of Heidi Swapps photo challege.
"Elf"
I had nothing, but told Wayne and the girls to keep a look out for me.
Wayne found these stickers from (I think) Bo Bunny.
I hope you all had a creative Friday :)
