Here is the last day of our shopping from when Sharon and I went to Hinckley for our getaway :)
We drove to Pine City to hit up their scrapbook store, I LOVE this store.
But being as excited as we were, we were to early so stopped in at their Walmart.
I found some adorable pieces for my fairy garden.
I am planning on painting the lawn furniture as the orange colour is just to much for me.
Look at that fire pit!!!
It is just so adorable...again I am going to paint it.
We were still to early as the scrap book store wasn't open quite yet, so the dollar store.
One thing I love about Dollar Tree is that every thing is really just a dollar.
Here in my dollar store Dollarama, there isn't much that is only just one dollar.
Seeing that I plan on keeping up with reading my one book a month, I picked up a few books...and yes each one was only a dollar!!
Then off to Pine City Scrapbooking!!!
I picked up these fun papers to scrapbook Kristy's trip to Italy...unless she wants to do her own pages, then she can have these.
And see those blueberry paper under the pile, I know I can use those as we pick blueberries every year and just last weekend we picked 58 cups.
There is a clearance section, and I found a few goodies in there.
As well as some pretty papers.
I fell in love with this pretty collection from Bo Bunny, so I purchased 2 of each piece.
As well as some card stock to match.
I have been making my own kits up when I find some papers I like, this way I can just grab my pre-made kit for a last minute crop :)
I also picked up the co-ordinating stickers, chipboard and die cuts.
Like every year, once we have finished our shopping, we head to the hotel lobby and create!
I made 30 cards!
The upper lobby has 2 huge tables and some comfy chairs.
I have never seen anyone sitting at these, so Sharon and I grab a couple of lamps from the other sitting area to give us more light and take over the table :)
I enjoy when the staff and guests come and chat with us to see what we are doing :)
Every evening we head to the casino for dinner and Sharon spends the rest of her evening donating to the slot machines ;)
I wonder around the casino for a bit to take in the lights and excitement, then I go and walk the grounds.
They have a beautiful pond with a couple of fountains in the centers as well as a couple of swans occupying it.
The next morning we hit the road to home.
As much as I loved to be away, I was happy to be home, I was more or less away from home for 2 weeks with my 2 getaways.
I still haven't put away my goodies...I have to clean my craft room first, lol.
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

The last of our trip....a tad late
My friend and SIL Sharon brought it to my attention, that I haven't posted in a week.
A Week!!!!
I know I have been kind of busy, but still, I used to blog every single day!!
So first off sorry for putting my blog on hold :(
I figured I would share with you the rest of our trip that my daughters and I went on.
For the second day that we were there, we spent most of the day in Mall of America.
First stop...Magic Pan Crepe Stand...Oh my...I can not tell you how good these are.
I always get banana caramel..sooooooo good.
I want one now.
The Mall was fun, but poor pregnant Ashley had sore swollen feet.
Even after the foot massage, warm tub and ice packs I made for her feet.
But the true shopper that my girls are...they powered through it to shop ;)
The only thing I picked up from the Mall was in the Carhartt store.
Wayne wanted to get the baby some overalls, so I picked up a pair as well as a cap and a toque (beanie) for him :)
I also picked up some Cinnabon twists...yes I am all about the food, teehee.
We stopped off at Target later.
I found some cute Halloween stuff in the dollar bins.
I also found these neat sticky notes (don't remember from where though).
I like the the words "hi" and "hello" are cut out, so fun.
Next morning we set off for our 7 hour drive home :)
Which was a bit squished as we had to keep the one back seat down in order to fit all of that Ikea stuff in the jeep.
Because I was the driver, I was very comfortable though ;)
As always I had a wonderful time with my daughters.
They are so funny and have me laughing all the time...even if the jokes are about me, lol.
I hope you all have a very creative day and I will fill you in with all that I have been doing in the last week or 2 :)

The Last of the Shopping
Our plan for our last full day on our trip has been to create all day.
But because we were later shopping yesterday, we missed going to Pine City to check out their awesome scrapbooking store.
Now we couldn't be this close to a scrapbooking store and NOT check it out.
So we were there when they first opened.
Here are the goodies I picked up from Pine City Scrapbooking.
Sharon loves the card kits from there, so I decided to try my hand at one :)
We ran into a Walmart and I found some pretty paper and cute stickers :)
I know I can't seem to go into a store without finding something crafty ;)
I also picked up one of my favourite pastries...as good as these are, the ones from Ignace are even better...Oh I think I picked up more than one package, but I share ;)
Lastly off to the Dollar Store where I found some cute baby stickers.
I think my grandbaby is sure going to have a lot of scrapbooks as I can't stop purchasing baby themed scrapbooking supplies :)
It was another hot day, so we stopped for a cool treat.
Can you guess who got which?
I love love love these strawberry shortcake ice-cream bars.
Considering I am not a huge ice-cream lover, I sure seem to be eating it a lot lately...and my waistline is proof of that, lol.
After we finished our shopping, we went back to the hotel and set up shop to make some cards...but I will share that in the next post :)
Hope you all have a very creative day.
Tracy :)

The Rest of My Crafty Shopping
I have to say my main goal heading to Minneapolis, was to go into Blicks.
I could spend a lot of time in there, but this time I had one thing on my mind…these water colour pencils.
What I like about them is once you colour, then blend with water….they dry permanent. They aren't suppose to reactivate when more water is added to them, great for layering colours :)
I think they will work beautifully on my art journal pages :)
I noticed they had two sets on the shelf and the biggest set held 36 pencils.
I was advised to get the bigger set from some online crafty friends, as they all got the bigger sets once they used them.
I had asked if they had the bigger set and at first the sales guy said no….but then checked in the back…I was so happy when he told me that they did!!!
I even got $20.00 off the price…bonus!!!!
When I told Wayne how much they were, and that they had the bigger set. He just said that was good.
I love that my husband doesn't blink an eye when I tell him that I spent an outrageous amount of money on coloured pencils, lol.
We went to Tuesday Morning…not much there that interested me, but I do love tags :)
We checked out Joanns.
I have been debating on getting this punch for a while now, and was still debating spending that much on one stamp….but don't think twice about spending 4x's that on coloured pencils, lol.
But Wayne told me to just get it…it was on sale and I looked at it the last time we were in the States.
So I did ;)
Checked out another Hobby Lobby for those tiny envelopes for Ashley's wedding.
I found 3 more sets :)
I was incorrect in my numbers (yes I was a book keeper) I need 3 more, but this is all that they had.
I picked up another of the smaller Dylusions art journal.
And some fun washi tape :)
On our way back to Duluth yesterday, we stopped at one of my favourite scrapbooking stores, Pine City Scrapbooking.
I love how those 2 12x12 papers make the tree when put together.
One of my most fun stamp purchases from this weekend….the zombie stamps…how fun is this :)
I also found some of the fun peel off stickers like I used in my Fauxbonichi in January.
We made it home safe and sound and are now watching 28 Days Later…I think it is a good substitute for missing our Walkng Dead.
I hope you all had a very Creative Day.
Besides sitting in the jeep most of the day…I did take out all of my new goodies and surrounded myself with them all…..oh that is happiness to me, lol.

Last of the creative Goodies :)
I think these are the last of my creative goodies I had found on our trip.
Funny thing is, all of these purchases were made on the first day of the trip and I'm only now sharing them ;)
These goodies I picked up from Scrapbooks Too.
I was very impressed with their inventory this time :)
They rearranged the store and seem to have a lot more product.
Which made me very happy.
I picked up a few new Prima Doll stamps and some of their pretty tags :)
I also found the Tim Holtz spritzer.
We dropped our girls off at Burnsville mall then Wayne and I checked out Michaels.
I was happy to find some Heidi Swapp stencils :)
These little wood veneer pieces were $1.99 for each package :)
We then stopped in Jo-Anns.
Wayne really wanted me to get the Wood paper pack, so I couldn't disappoint him ;)
I thought the gauze paper was interesting.
Picked up some more tags for my monthly tags as I am out. Plus they are less then 1/2 the price they are here. I usually make my own out of file folders though.
Onto My Day:
I didn't do nearly the things I had planned on doing today.
I did go grocery shopping, not that I wanted to, but because I had to. We didn't have any bread or milk in the house, lol
I actually texted Wayne to tell him there is no food in the house, so if he was coming home for lunch, could he please bring me something as well, lol.
They make pretty good sub sandwiches at Tim Hortons ;)
I did get to play a bit tonight.
I played with my new coloured pencils :)
I have never used Gamsol to blend with coloured pencils before.
But more on that in another post :)
I hope you all had a wonderful and creative Monday.
I had a creative Monday, not sure if it was wonderful as we are in the middle of a snow storm…and its not even April fools day yet ;)

A bit of shopping and Sebastian
I didn't get to create at all today….but I did do a bit of creative shopping.
Did I need any of these items…nope. But they were all on clearance :)
The price for Thickers here is $8.49….which I refuse to pay, but these ones (only this colour of course) were on clearance for $4.99.
Everything else was $1.99 :)
I dropped Kristy off at her boyfriend's house.
He only lives a block from Ashley's house, so I met Ashley at her house for lunch.
I was there before she was, so I got to spend some time with Sebastian.
We snuggled for awhile, and then he heard some birds.
They were huge crows and would be able to carry him away…but I let him think he could take them, ;)
Then Ashley came home for lunch and he got really excited :)
He is watching her until he couldn't see her anymore, so ran to the door to welcome her home.
I thought that was so sweet.
While I was at Ashley I fixed her bedside lamps.
Then we started to organize her linen closet.
That was until little Sebastian decided to help us out by snuggling in amongst Ashley's purses :)
Can you see him?
Here he is.
Isn't he a pretty boy :)
He has such a fluffy tail.
Can you imagine my posts when I get grandchildren, lol.
I hope you all had a warm and creative Tuesday :)
