Last day of our getaway and I was missing my daughter's and grandsons.
But before heading back home I had one more crafty store I love to visit..Pine City Scrapbooking.
They have the cutest cards there and I love to see all of the creativity they share.
I found these cute little stamp sets and thought they were adorable...I even picked up the flare for the lamb's face.
Also am excited to play with the Tim Holtz plaid stencil...I actually have an idea for a background I want to try with it.
I know, I know.....I don't need any more papers.
But look how cute these are for Dawson's baby album!!!
I have enough boy-type papers to create many baby boy albums, but these papers and cut aparts are just so cute, how could I not get them, teehee.
We came home Friday evening to my daughters and my grandsons waiting for us 💖.
We unpacked the jeep and went straight for some snuggles...actually I got some snuggles in before unpacking the jeep, teehee.
The rest of the evening was chatting with my daughters and playing with the grandbabies.
When they went home, I went downstairs to decorate for my Halloween Scrapbooking Crop I host every year.
I will share that in the next post!
I hope you all have a very creative day.

Day 3 of our Girls Creative Shopping Getaway.
Here is the last day of our shopping from when Sharon and I went to Hinckley for our getaway :)
We drove to Pine City to hit up their scrapbook store, I LOVE this store.
But being as excited as we were, we were to early so stopped in at their Walmart.
I found some adorable pieces for my fairy garden.
I am planning on painting the lawn furniture as the orange colour is just to much for me.
Look at that fire pit!!!
It is just so adorable...again I am going to paint it.
We were still to early as the scrap book store wasn't open quite yet, so the dollar store.
One thing I love about Dollar Tree is that every thing is really just a dollar.
Here in my dollar store Dollarama, there isn't much that is only just one dollar.
Seeing that I plan on keeping up with reading my one book a month, I picked up a few books...and yes each one was only a dollar!!
Then off to Pine City Scrapbooking!!!
I picked up these fun papers to scrapbook Kristy's trip to Italy...unless she wants to do her own pages, then she can have these.
And see those blueberry paper under the pile, I know I can use those as we pick blueberries every year and just last weekend we picked 58 cups.
There is a clearance section, and I found a few goodies in there.
As well as some pretty papers.
I fell in love with this pretty collection from Bo Bunny, so I purchased 2 of each piece.
As well as some card stock to match.
I have been making my own kits up when I find some papers I like, this way I can just grab my pre-made kit for a last minute crop :)
I also picked up the co-ordinating stickers, chipboard and die cuts.
Like every year, once we have finished our shopping, we head to the hotel lobby and create!
I made 30 cards!
The upper lobby has 2 huge tables and some comfy chairs.
I have never seen anyone sitting at these, so Sharon and I grab a couple of lamps from the other sitting area to give us more light and take over the table :)
I enjoy when the staff and guests come and chat with us to see what we are doing :)
Every evening we head to the casino for dinner and Sharon spends the rest of her evening donating to the slot machines ;)
I wonder around the casino for a bit to take in the lights and excitement, then I go and walk the grounds.
They have a beautiful pond with a couple of fountains in the centers as well as a couple of swans occupying it.
The next morning we hit the road to home.
As much as I loved to be away, I was happy to be home, I was more or less away from home for 2 weeks with my 2 getaways.
I still haven't put away my goodies...I have to clean my craft room first, lol.
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

A day trip to Minneapolis and a haul
On the second day of our weekend trip, Wayne and I left really early from Duluth to drive to Minneapolis :)
1st stop was Cabalas...which is one of Wayne's favourite stores.
I used to love it until they stopped selling their Bear Claw chocolate bars :(
But I did pick up a warm red plaid throw blanket :)

When we left it had stopped snowing, but the roads weren't clear...but he is used to driving on these type of road conditions, so he drove while I crocheted another baby afghan :)

Our next stop was one of my stores....Blicks.
I picked up some Gamsol as I am almost out and some art journal mediums to play with :)
We then went to Mall of America for some yummy banana caramel crepes and cinibon sticks...soooo yummy.
Yes, we only stopped in at MOA for food, lol.
Then we headed to Joann's and I picked up some more art journaling supplies ;)
They let me use so many coupons...I really did good :)

I love this store, so much to look at and I like how they have their products displayed.
Sadly we didn't have a lot of time to browse in that store as we had a bit of a drive still ahead of us.
We went to 5 Guys for supper....oh I wish I had one of their burgers and order of fries right now!!
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

Crop & Create 2016 - Day 1
I have to say the Crop & Create event put on by Scrapbook & Cards Today was an awesome event!!!
We always have a blast.
This year I brought kits.
I wanted my packing to be easier, and this way, I wouldn't have to bring 1/2 the stuff I own, lol.
Friday the crop started at 3:00 and lasted until midnight, so I brought a card kit I purchased from Pine City Scrapbooking.
Aren't these cards so cute :)
I also brought my Copic markers to colour in the images that needed to be coloured.
I brought my Copics home at the end of the night, so Sunday at the end of the crop, I would have less to pack up...at least I hoped that this would be the case.
Here are the last 2 cards from the kit.
Isn't that baby card so cute...and that silhouette card is gorgeous.
I did a lot of visiting (as I usually do) but didn't shop the first day...I know hard to believe right ;)
Don't fear though....this was just the first day of the crop.
I took a wee nap on the couch today as there were some late nights.
But have decided to have a Walking Dead marathon until the new season starts this Sunday.
Today is Season 1.
I hope you all have a very creative day :)

The Last of the Shopping
Our plan for our last full day on our trip has been to create all day.
But because we were later shopping yesterday, we missed going to Pine City to check out their awesome scrapbooking store.
Now we couldn't be this close to a scrapbooking store and NOT check it out.
So we were there when they first opened.
Here are the goodies I picked up from Pine City Scrapbooking.
Sharon loves the card kits from there, so I decided to try my hand at one :)
We ran into a Walmart and I found some pretty paper and cute stickers :)
I know I can't seem to go into a store without finding something crafty ;)
I also picked up one of my favourite pastries...as good as these are, the ones from Ignace are even better...Oh I think I picked up more than one package, but I share ;)
Lastly off to the Dollar Store where I found some cute baby stickers.
I think my grandbaby is sure going to have a lot of scrapbooks as I can't stop purchasing baby themed scrapbooking supplies :)
It was another hot day, so we stopped for a cool treat.
Can you guess who got which?
I love love love these strawberry shortcake ice-cream bars.
Considering I am not a huge ice-cream lover, I sure seem to be eating it a lot lately...and my waistline is proof of that, lol.
After we finished our shopping, we went back to the hotel and set up shop to make some cards...but I will share that in the next post :)
Hope you all have a very creative day.

I hit the Jackpot
I hit the jackpot in Pine City Scrapbookers when we went through there :)
I just love this store/retreat.
It is one of the last Scrapbooking stores that I know of….I still have to travel 6+ hours and cross the border to get there….but it is always a treat when I do :)
I picked up quite a few dies this time.
I have so many ideas for Christmas cards now, I don't know which one I will choose to make…yup, still haven't even started on those.
I thought those circle dies with the image in the centre were lovely and LOVE the one with the deer and how its antlers take up 1/2 of the circle.
Also can't wait to cut out those trees and teacups.
Onto My Day:
Being as it is the 12th of December, it is the day we put up our tree.
I know many of you mentioned that you enjoy putting your trees up early because you enjoy looking at the lights every night.
I am right there with ya.
There is just something so peaceful about looking at the tree lights in the quiet of the evening.
But I like the anticipation of the season, so that is why I like to wait till now to put up our tree.
I hope you all have a very Creative Day :)

Crafty shopping and some Silliness ;)
More shopping today..surprised?!?!
Like my kissie face, lol?
We had time to waste while waiting for Pine City Scrapbooking to open up.
So off to one of my favourite stores…Dollarama ;)
I didn't seen any Halloween washi tape, but found some Christmas ones :)
We took a break from shopping to get a selfie, lol.
Giddy up, lol.
Still had time before the scrapbooking store opened so Walmart it was.
I found my yummy cream horns ;)
And some crafty stuff as well ;)
Another selfie, teehee
Then Pine City Scrapbooking :)
I even bought a few gifts on my trip.
I got Sharon this card kit for Christmas or her birthday.
I had to get her to tell me if she had this one, as she always buys their card kits when she goes there.
I picked up a couple of the new Distress inks, and sprays.
I had these zombie cut outs before, and used them all, so picked up another one ;)
Last selfie of the day :)
We have too much fun when we are together…if that is even possible.
Tonight Sharon and I went to the buffet at the Casino.
Oh my goodness, I ate way to much.
I wasn't going to have dessert, but when I saw what Sharon got, I just had to.
So I was going to get one thing…..I surprised myself, lol.
I got caramelized banana, deep chocolate brownie, peach cobbler, bread pudding, cherry cobbler and some type of gooey square.
And some ice-cream with the caramelized banana.
I was so full, I was uncomfortable.
I won't even say I'll start eating healthy on Monday, lol.

Watched Survivor tonight all alone, while Sharon was down gambling, teehee.
Texted with Wayne as we both watched it ;)
I hope you all had a very creative day :)
Home for me tomorrow….not looking forward to bringing all my shopping down to the jeep in the morning though, lol

Home with some more goodies to Share
We took a couple of photos of the girls in front of one of the huge Christmas trees in Mall of America.
I wish I brought a better camera, as I only had my cell phone…but no matter, my girls still look great ;)
I have a good photo of Wayne and I in front of this tree, but he didn't want me to post it…big baby.
As I had mentioned in yesterday's post, we went to Ikea, and I found some crafty goodies.
Yes that is some decorative tape. I must have read the tag wrong, as it was twice as much as I thought it was. Didn't notice until later on.
A couple of these inserts for my roskog cart….still thinking about organizing…now to just get my butt in gear ;)
I also found these fun paper clips from there. They came in those round jars you see in the case.
Enough to share with a few friends :)
I went into Typo…that is such a fun/cute store.
Just a tip though….if you go in there, bring your cheater glasses to see the prices. They are so tiny and mistakes can be made, lol.
I thought these little sticker sheets were fun. They will be great for my planner.
I THOUGHT the price was $6.99 for each tin.
More then I would have liked to have paid, but they come in a cute tin and they were fun.
Plus when I am on a trip, I purchase things I normally wouldn't if I was at home.
When I went to pay, I thought, what the heck..this is so not correct.
Got my glasses out of my purse (after the fact) and saw that the price was actually $9.99 for each tin.
I would not have paid that at all, but since I had already, figured I might as well keep them ;)
I picked up this cute leather bound tiny note book at Marshals.
I needed a tiny note book to jot some ideas in while Wayne and I had a sit down at B&N.
I like that it is small enough for my purse and it has grid paper :)
It also has this elastic closure to keep it secure while it is in my purse.
I always need paper and a pen with me :)
On the way home this morning, we stopped at Pine City Scrapbooking.
I picked up a couple of creative goodies.
I like this film strip. I have some plan film strip, but this one has images in the film…though that would be fun to use on a project :)
That is it for me tonight.
Early to bed.
Not sure how early it will be for Heather and Kristy, Luna had missed us and won't leave them alone ;)
Hope you all had a Creative Sunday :)
Tracy :)

Scrappy Adventure....Day 3
Today was another fun crafty shopping day.
First stop…back to Pine City Scrapbooking :)
Look they have their own pattern paper with their store name on it..sooooo cool!!
These were my purchases from the first day we went to Pine City Scrapbooking on Monday.
I found a few fun Prima stamps and those stamps at the bottom "Great Impressions" so so cute :)
Now onto Todays goodies :)
I came across this fun Tim Holtz file book. They had one already put together in a Autumn theme, so cute. Plus it was under $5.00..bonus.
I just had to grab a couple of these fun Pine City Scrapbooking papers, I have many happy memories there and equally as many photos.
Nabbed this cute Pima Christmas stamp set.
You all know I couldn't pass up these zombie papers….how Awesome!!!!
I made a mini album of Ashley's "Night of the Living Dead" photo shoot, but haven't done any 12x12 pages…this paper is Perfect for that.
Here is the mini album I did, if you would like to check it out "Night of the Living Dead" mini album.
I just fell in love with this pretty paper by Bo Bunny called Primrose.
I had to get double sheets as both sides were equally beautiful.
I also picked up the sticker sheet and cutouts.
I figured out I might as well pick out some matching card stock and make a kit out of it all.
We then stopped off at the Walmart here.
Oh look, I found some more paper and washi tape ;)
Remember this is a non-judging blog ;)
Everyone kept telling us that we needed to get a cinnamon bun from Tobies.
I can not tell you how delicious these were.
I think I may pick up a few to share with the family when I get home ;)
When we got back to the hotel, we decided to head to the breakfast room/lobby and do some colouring.
The lighting in our room is terrible, as you can tell by my haul photos.
Everyone who walked by us, stopped to see what we were doing and ask questions :)
Sharon had always told me she would never colour as she doesn't enjoy it.
Well guess what….she is colouring now, teehee.
I have been telling her about coloured pencils and using Gamsol (orderless mineral spirits) to blend…..yes I am such a enabler, teehee.
Sharon picked up some inexpensive artist grade coloured pencils and a smaller container of OMS.
We couldn't find a cheap glass container for the OMS, so we went the dollar store and picked up a sponge. The only container that had a tight lid was a jar of artichokes, lol.
So Sharon put the artichokes in a foam coffee cup with a lid, washed out the glass jar and added the OMS :)
See we are creative all around, teehee.
Thought I would share a couple of images that I had coloured up today.
I was showing Sharon how to blend with the OMS with her coloured pencils. This is the image I coloured up…isn't this just so cute?!
I brought my Copics, so figured I had better use them, teehee.
I have never used this colour combination on jeans before, but I really like it.
I tried to make the balloon transparent….I think it worked.
I am now watching Survivor as Sharon is out at the Casino trying to win back some crafty shopping money, teehee.
I hope you all had a Creative Wednesday :)
Tracy :)
