Sister's Ever So Sweet

Can you believe I created this layout a few years ago and haven't shared it yet!!
I have a journal that I check which videos I have edited, finalized and uploaded...I had not uploaded this one and I recorded exactly a year ago.
I thought I may have posted it here as I had my photo's watermarked...but nope, couldn't find it, lol.
So here it is....

This layout is of my 3 beautiful, loving and funny daughters.
I used this gorgeous Recollections "Union Square" papers.
I did a bit of stamping on the papers just for a little bit of an extra touch.

My daughter Ashley was doing a photo shoot of her and her sisters and these were the out-takes....which I thought were so fun and so them!
I added a paper doily that I inked up with some distress ink as well as the tag I inked and stamped.

I stamped the letters for "LOVE" and then inked the papers as well as back them in the brown cardstock.

With this being a Winter layout, I love the added touch of these snowflake charms.

I added some twine as well as stamped the pink hearts on the tag.
I also added this oh so pretty "Sisters forever" chipboard piece on the tag.

Here is my video with a bit more detail on this layout.

Happy is This Way

A layout of my girls :)

I made this layout when I was on my Creative Getaway with Debbie :)
This is the second page to a 2 page layout I did.

I have been trying to use up my kits before the Crop & Create event this month.
I told myself, I can't purchase anymore kits from the event, until I have completed all of the ones I had purchased from the last 2 years.
Honestly though…I was just saying that, as we all know I would purchase them, even if I didn't use them all, lol.

I have to say I have been doing really well.
This page was made with leftovers from one of the kits :)
I sure know how to squeeze a lot of extra layouts out of these kits I tell ya.

Onto My Day:
I had great plans of cleaning up the house and working on my journal.
I tidied the dining room, and then chatted on the phone most of the day, lol.
Heather and I picked Kristy up from work, then went to Ashley's for our nightly walk.
Actually just Ashley and I went for the walk.
Because I have to wear open toe shoes, because of my boo boo, my other foot was sore from wearing flip flops.
I have a blister on my good foot and in between my toe.
Later on, Kristy and I went for a walk to grab a couple of groceries.
Heather said she would pick us up, if me feet hurt….but I made it the whole way there and back :)

I hope you all had a very Creative Day today :)

Sister Pages

Here are my pages coloured up.
I have only journaled on the one page of the pages today.
The Sisters on the left page are my daughters. I coloured the hair the same colours as my girl's :)
The Sisters on the left are suppose to be me and my little sister.
Both stamps are from Unity.

Here is a closer look at the coloured images which I coloured with my Copic markers.
One of the things I love about working in my Fauxbonichi is that I don't have to be perfect with my colouring.
I just colour and I don't critique every little detail :)

Onto My Day:
I went with Ashley for another dress fitting.
The dress looks so beautiful on her :)
We also took the bridesmaid dresses in to make sure that the men's ties and vests colours match.

I also put away our outdoor Christmas decor…had to climb over a snow pile to reach some of them though, plus the planter was still frozen in the icy snow.
Spring is coming soon…it always does ;)

I hope you all had a very Creative Wednesday :)

Sisters Layout

Look at me go!!!
Another 2 page scrapbooking layout.
So easy to make with these beautiful photos of my daughters taken by my oldest daughter.

Here is the first page.
I didn't even know this photo was taken until I asked Ashley for the photos she took at this photo shoot.
I love this photo in this old abandon farm house.
I really love this hand made paper, it looks like leather to me.
I hoarded it for the perfect layout…..see its good to hoard ;)

Here is a closer look to this paper.
I really like this "beautiful" sticker. I like that it is a full 12" in length and the sparkly writing.

I love, love, love this cluster.
I wanted to add some metal embellishments to this layout and these seemed just perfect.
The "Know in your heart you are loved" charm was painted. I used a brass metallic paint and then wiped some away for a distressed look.

My second page to this layout.
Another photo I didn't know that she took. I had only seen the one the girls gave me for Mother's Day.
I felt like I hit the jackpot when Ashley gave me these photos.

I inked these frames as they were really light in colour.
I also added the dimensional stickers inside of these dimensional frames.

I really really like this bookplate.
I again added metallic paint to this piece.
I used some of the handmade paper to back the letters that spell "sisters".
The brads I used for the bookplate are so neat as they look like screw heads.

Here are both pages together.
I really like how this one turned out.

I did a video on this layout.

Sisters

I enjoyed an evening out with my little (and only) sister Julia :)

We went to see Annabelle.
My sister has always been scared of dolls and clowns.
I teased her about us going to see this movie and thought she was just playing along when she said she would go.
She said she would bring her big girl panties and I told her I hope that they are water proof, teehee.
Turns out, the movie wasn't scary at all.
It may be because the girl beside me had to check her phone every 15 minutes or maybe because the guy behind me kept pushing on my seat.
What was more scary was that a man got stabbed outside of the theatre a week or so ago….but they had police there tonight, so all was good.
I really like that photo of my sister and I.
Usually if we have our photo taken, it looks more like this ;)

I found this photo on the web and every time I look at it, I can't help but laugh.
This would be us to a "T". lol
The looks on these girl's faces are priceless.

I was suppose to start getting ready my supplies I need to take to the big crop this weekend, but I some how, didn't pack a thing.
I am such a procrastinator :)

Hope you all had a very Creative Tuesday :)
