Woohoo Friday Night Scrapbooking

Today was the first day of our Friday Night Scrapbooking. My girlfriends and I get together at my house every Friday night for scrapbooking. We don't do it in the summer due to everyone going to their camps/cottages.
We have been doing this for over 5 years at least. Sometimes its only Sharon and I. But other nights we have to move upstairs to the dining room table. Whichever it is, I love it.

Tonight it was just Sharon and I. We did more chatting then scrapping. Well she did as she didn't get anything done, LOL. Then at 9:00 we go to Tim Horton's for coffee. Well she gets coffee, I hate coffee, so I get a hot chocolate. They screw it up everytime. Its hot chocolate people!! They sell a 1/2 hot chocolate 1/2 coffee (who would want to ruin hot chocolate with coffee, gross) I think that is what they give me or else the machine is down and its really watery. From now on I am going to save my money and my taste buds and make my own.
I made 2 cards tonight.
I was planning on making Thank You cards for a while now, finally did a couple. I bought these "Thank You" tags when we went away on our trip. Hard to tell but they are sparkly. The colour inside the tag is a cream, and the rim is chocolate brown, Very pretty. I think my next set needs some more colour though.
Here is the inside of the card. I need lines in my cards to keep my writing straight. I can not write in a straight line to save my life. Funny how I need everything perfectly lined up though.
So today I was going to tape my scrap/craft room tour. I wanted to do it before Scrapbooking night as I knew I would make a mess, teehee. And I was so close to doing that too.
But I wanted to put up my shelves I bought from IKEA (yup got them when we were on our trip). I put them up (no help from hubby...thank you very much, NOT). And they are perfectly straight and look awesome. I love them.
But then I didn't have time to video tape. Not to worry I will have it up on the 15th. That my friends is a promise. And I never make a promise I can't fulfill :)

Hope you had a good Friday and got some creating in.
