Today was daylight savings. We fall back an hour.
I forgot.
I woke up this morning thinking that I slept in, nope actually I woke up early. Then I remembered about the time change and could not for the life of me fall back asleep. That hardly ever happens. This girl can sleep.
This picture is courtesy of Heather. Who had to work today. So I caught up on my book work, and read while she worked.
You ever feel like time is spinning out of control? I sure do.
There are so many things that I either need to get done or want to get done, and I seem to run out of time.
Or else I planned on doing something this week and then realize I haven't done it and not days, or weeks have gone by but months.
I don't know how mom's that work outside of the home do it. I am a homemaker, and do the book keeping in my home and I seem to be behind on everything.
I know the big part of the problem is my pretty little laptop. But do I really want to give that up...nope, nadda, not on your life. I love this thing.
I make lists, I love and live by my lists. But I noticed I haven't made them for a while. Guess I will get back to that and maybe that will help me stay on task.
Hope your Sunday was a relaxing and creative one.

I feel the same way. The weeks and months go by so fast. I always have a list but lately the amount of things on the list is a little overwhelming.
ReplyDeleteTracy..I can just ditto everything in your post! I am always behind. Whether it's because I ran out of time, or procrastinated too much or was just plain lazy..it's a combination of all three. When I get home from work, I want to create, but sometimes I just am too tired and would rather numb my mind with useless t.v. Not good..but it is what it is sometimes!
ReplyDeletei love lists, if i dont write one ill forget to do something.. so if i plan to clean the house i usually make a list of the things i want to clean and then cross it off
ReplyDeletei love lists too. i soo live by them. i love to make them and i love to check things off--that is the best when you cross off the very last item!
ReplyDeleteOh, how I love my lists! In fact I have lists for my lists Lol! Yesterdays time change just threw me off my game. I'm still adjusting...
ReplyDeleteThe thing about my lists is that I could go on forever...
ReplyDeleteI love them but don't like finding them with only a few things crossed off - days later, so I'm learning to be happy when I just get the bases covered anymore.
I create lists and some weeks I end up putting almost the entire list from the week before! I never feel like I have time either and I don't even have kids LOL....
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about time spinning out of control! I am there with you. My mom tells me that it only gets worse the older you get. Great! Some days I can't even remember what day it is or how I got there.
ReplyDeleteThe END of daylight savings! I love the extra hour. :)
ReplyDeleteP.S. I finally stuck your envelope in the mail!
My husband had an early day, so I woke up before he did just to make sure he got up on time, then I couldn't fall back to sleep. Now he's in bed fast asleep and I'm surfing blogs. Maybe this is why I feel so behind on things? Just maybe?
ReplyDeleteTracy,
ReplyDeleteIf I make a list, I usually lose it...lol
My whole day was off on Monday cuz of the time change.
Hugs
