File Folder Card

Today was an excellent day!!
For one, I didn't have to leave the house :)
I created all day.
Wayne and I watched the Mentalist all day.
Plus Wayne made supper, so I didn't have to cook.
See, told you it was an excellent day :)

I saw a couple of tutorials on YouTube from a couple of my Stampin Up ladies I follow.
I merged the tutorials (as they were pretty similar) and made a couple of file folder cards with my envelope punch board.

I used one of the Snowflake Rosettes that I had made yesterday.

I put a file inside for the message.
I love this pattern paper as it has lines on it, and I need my lines.
I stamped the sentiment and the tree with some $1.00 stamps. I really do get a lot of use out of those cheapy stamps.
I made a few more projects, but I will save those for another day ;)
I even got to colour in an image :)

Day 15 of Heidi Swapp's challenge.
I love looking at our Christmas tree.
I love turning off all of the house lights and just sit in front of the tree and enjoy the lights and how they sparkle off of the glittery Christmas baubles.
It is just so calming to me.

Day 15 of Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine's photo challenge.
Took this photo from my photo for Heidi's "naughty/nice" challenge.
I just cropped it.

Tonight is the finale of Survivor.
So you know what I'll be doing tonight ;)

I hope you all had a very creative Sunday :)

Tracy :)

  1. There's that snowflake. Looks lovely. I really want to make a few. We had the same day. While I worked away in my craft room my husband made me breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  2. Sounds like a perfect Sunday! I baked my little heart out today! Someday soon I will get to craft again!

  3. That sounds like a perfect day. Your file folder card is great, love that snowflake. I also made a card yesterday as I was playing race the deadline for a challenge. lol.

  4. I love this file folder card! Are the sides of the folder sealed or do you open it to get the piece out? I love having all the lights off to look at the tree too :) What did you think about the winner? I made it through part of the reunion show and had to turn it off, too sleepy after all that moving. I'll watch the rest tonight :)

  5. I've reallllllly been eyeing that die! But I just have a Cuttlebug with regular plates. Anyway, enjoyed seeing it! I'm now a follower from our 2Peas thread.

  6. That is a great idea for a card!!
And sounds like the perfect day to me.
Any day I don't have to cook is a good one :)

  7. The file folder is so cool! I love how you did that!

The ornament on your tree is very pretty! Sitting by the tree is one of my favorite things too. I turn it on as soon as I get home from work and it stays on until we go to sleep :)

  8. I love it when I don't have to leave the house!!!
love this file card! soooo pretty

  9. WOW - wonderful card, love the papers! TFS

Leave me some love and I will return it right back to you :)
