I had a great time at my crop yesterday.
Whats not to love..creating, friends and snacks (with lots of pop) ;)
I worked on my calender there.
Remember my calender? The one I was planning on sharing every month. The one I was putting into this stand.
Yea, I just did that one month, January and didn't like how it turned out so decided to start from scratch.
Here is April's calender page :)
January's page.
I used the Graphic 45 Place in Time Stack.
Funny as I didn't like it when I bought it, but I did like the concept.
On January's page I added a pocket watch charm on the 1st of the month.
Here is February's calender page.
I think this one is one of my favourites.
I added cupcakes on the days that birthdays fall on.
Here is March's calender page.
I backed all the decorative papers with black card stock.
You may wonder why I did the pages of the month that have already passed.
Well I am hoping to do a layout of each month and put them all in a scrapbook.
I always have so many ideas...I just need to carry them out ;)
Here are how the pages started out.
Funny thing is, they only supplied one of these pages in the paper stack. I was like WTH.
So I just copied 12 of them on my photocopier/printer and was good to go.
As you can see, they are pretty plain. Pretty though.
So I added a block for the numbers to go, added the numbers and decorated them up :)
I am really happy with how they turned out.
I just need to find a really small stamp set with different occasions.
Wayne had some fun today.
He took out the snowblower and threw some snow over the fence.
Look the sun is shining :)
I thought I would have got a lot more done at the crop yesterday.
I brought 3 other projects to do...I seriously thought this calender would have only taken me a few hours, lol.
So I figured, I'm not going to unpack until I get what I wanted to do completed.
Lets just hope it doesn't take me too long ;)
I hope you had a wonderful weekend and a creative Sunday :)
Tracy :)
