Halloween Crop of 2018

I love a good crop...and I love to host crops.
A crop is when scrapbookers get together to create...just in case you don't know.
I have been putting on scrapbooking crops in my home for quite a few years now.....these are different then my Friday Night Scrapbooking get togethers.

Most of my Scrapbooking Crops (and the ones I attend) are at least 12 hours long.

Now to the decorating!!!
I love to decorate just as much as I like to scrapbook.
My daughter Ashley also loves to decorate for these events I host.

Looks like this scrapbooker was chained to her/his chair and needed help completing their page, teehee.

The Halloween banner was from a swap I was part of that Gail (The Happy Stamper) hosted.
I made the second "E"

The zombie area and the dress up center, if anyone didn't have a costume, they could use one of these.

The witches caldron mixing up a brew.

Here is the full view of the witches table.

Here is my craft table.
I have enough room to fit 8 people comfortably....unless you are like some of my friends who like to take over other areas other then their own, lol.

This is a new display this year.
My husband had this fish tank that he built into the wall...all the fish have long ago died, and the tank is dry.
Ashley got me to run to Dollarama to pick up these skeleton piranhas and we tied them to fishing line and dangled them in the tank.

Here are my friends and I.
Lynne, me and Sharon.
Lynne is the Snowflake queen.
I'm a Little Devil.
Sharon is Kitty..meow.
These ladies are some of my biggest cheerleaders 💗💗

Denise is the Ringleader.
Not only in her costume.

My little skeleton cutie Dawson 💗

My oldest daughter Ashley came as a skeleton (as did her babies), Kristy came as a doctor.  Unfortunately Heather didn't dress up.

And here is Sawyer in his costume....which he didn't want to put on at first.

My friend Ingrid came as a pumpkin....she is such a trooper as she had just had carpel tunnel surgery the day before.

So I dressed up her bandage as Ghosty.

We always have such a great time when we are together and 12 hours still wasn't enough time!
I didn't scrapbook, I worked on my knitting that I need to complete for a Christmas gift.

I hope you all have a very Creative day.

Tracy 💗💗💗

Happy Halloween...Scrapbooking Crop Decor and Tour

You know I love to host scrapbooking crops in my home and now that the cold weather is upon us, I get to do just this :)
I hosted a 12 hour Halloween crop last Saturday and I had a blast.
My daughter's and I decorated to the max.
Here is the witches table :)
I wish you could really see all of the small details to this!

The bodiless writer.
I love that my daughter printed up a story and put it in the typewriter.
She is so detailed.

Above the typewriter, we have this drawing that my middle daughter Heather drew when she was in high school years ago.
The Halloween banner was from a banner swap I was in that Gale (the happy stamper) put on.

I cute display beside Marilyn, my dress form who I dressed as a witch this year.

My rat skeleton in the cob web covered cage.
If you have noticed a lot of my books were used to give height to some of the display...all of the books were written by Stephen King ;)

Here is Marilyn :)
I later covered the front of the book cases with the same type of black webbed table cloth that Marilyn has as her skirt.

Our Photo wall.
I made the accordion flowers or medallions with pattern paper and the banner was a kit I bought and made from Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago.

Here are some of the ladies that came to my Halloween crop :)
Others came later, but we forgot to take more photos...I guess we were to busy working on our pages.

The Zombie Area
Here is my daughter Ashley and grandson Sawyer (who didn't have an interest in getting his picture taken).
Ashley did a lot of the decorating.
This area was the selfie/dress up area.
I had some costumes in a basket as well as my selfie stick if anyone wanted to take their picture.

I was playing around with trying to get a photo of me in my costume before my friends showed up.

My selfie in the zombie area with my zombie friend, teehee.

My crop was a blast, we all enjoyed ourselves and even got some projects done!!
I also did a video of the decor before everyone arrived so you can see it more detail :)
If you would like to watch it on my YouTube channel here is the link "Tracy's Treasures24"

I hope you are all having a safe and fun Halloween

Halloween Crop

I had an awesome day today.
I held a 6 hour crop (which went into overtime ;) in my home :)
I love to get my friends together and do what we love to do, which is create, chat and enjoy each other's company :)
Making it into a party is just a bonus :)

I had such a great time decorating for it, making the giant tissue flowers and the treat bags
Most of the Halloween displays were up anyway, but I did have to get the craft/pool table party ready ;)
Oh yeah, can't forget the photo staging area.

Here is one of my areas downstairs that I love to decorate for each season.
The banner is from a Banner Swap that Gale (The Happy Stamper) held many years ago.
The art in the frame, is a paper quilt I made…again, many years ago.
And the ceramic Haunted House I painted over 25 years ago…wow, time really does go by quickly.

Here is a closer look at the Haunted House.
It has a tiny light inside, but I have changed it to a battery light. So much easier to put where ever I want it and not have to worry about it being near a plug in.
The Witch on the pool table, is ceramic and hand painted by me many years ago as well.

We used to have fish in this aquarium, but not for a very long time now, so I just use this area for another place I get to decorate.
I was going to put heads inside of the aquarium, but none of my friends watch The Walking Dead, so the humour would have been lost on them ;)
All the wooden pieces, I cut and painted years ago.
See the theme here, lol. I think I need some new decor ;)

Look, even Marilyn got spookified ;)

Besides decorating for a party, we all know we need some yummy treats :)
I supplied the cupcakes..thank you Safeway ;)
I added these fun skull toppers that I picked up on one of my recent travels to a dollar store.

We all know we need some salt with our sweets.
And what is a few centipedes mixed in.
A few of the ladies also brought some goodies, we had homemade sloppy joes, chocolate cake, taco dip and artichoke dip…yummy.

The very best thing though is friends.
And I am lucky to have some wonderful, creative and caring friends :)

My friend Lynne wanted to dress up.
So some of us did.
We had a cool Santa, a tutu cutie and a spider hat witch.
I was a slave to my craft, as I wore a chain with crafting supplies attached and a tag that pointed out my love of supplies ;)

And of course we had many many laughs.
My friends are hilarious and I am lucky to have them in my life.

Before everyone got here, I did a quick video of my set up and decor :)
If you would rather watch the video on my YouTube channel, just click the link "Tracy's Treasures24"I hope you all had a very Creative Saturday :)
I even completed 3 more pages today….well, almost 3 pages ;)
