Sawyer's 4th Birthday and his Spiderman card

My oldest grandson turned 4 in Sept.

He is so cute, such a sweetie and so so smart.

He loves his cars and heavy machinery (like his grandpa). 

He also loves Superheroes.

So I wanted to make him a card similar to his little brother's Hulk card.

I found an image of Spiderman off of the internet and printed 2 up on my photo printer.

I also grabbed this halloween paper as it was perfect with this spider web on it!

I fussy cut the image out, and then cut out the head and the hand from the second image.

I then popped up Spider mans head and double popped up the the hand.

I enjoyed doing some virtual scrapbooking with my friend tonight...so not the same, but its the next best thing!!

Heather Beautiful Beauty

My middle daughter Heather hates getting her photo taken, so it is hard to scrapbook her, as there are not many photos of her.
While my girls were on a photo shoot, Ashley, my oldest, took these of just Heather.
I love them and needed to scrapbook them.

I used papers left over from a kit I was almost done with as well as some cardstock.
See that pretty tag...it was in our gift bag at a Crop for Heart event.

The floral card and the paper were from different kits, but I was happy at how well they went to together.
I still need to journal on this page....and here I thought this layout was complete until I did the video, teehee.

Layouts Defunkified

I have finally got my loose layouts organized!!!!
I was a bit surprised that I had 44 layouts completed.
But I was even more surprised to see that I had 89 layouts semi-completed.
Meaning layouts without photos.
Then on Friday Night Scrapbooking, I did another 2 page spread without photos.

So now to count I have 135 layouts done!!!
I organized my completed layouts (on the left) in order by date of when the photos were taken.
I organized my semi-completed layouts (on the right) in order by kit...if they were made from a kit.
As a lot of my layouts are made from kits I had purchased at Crop & Create or our Thank You Goodie Bags.

My next task is to make a video on my completed layouts that I haven't shared yet and to also put photos on the semi-completed layouts.
My daughters were really giving me a hard time on not having photos on so many layouts...but I have been having so much fun just making layouts with or without photos.

International Scrapbooking Day

Who celebrated International Scrapbboking Day??

I did!!!

I gave an open invitation to all of friends to come and join me for a day of creating!! 

There were 5 of us busy working on our projects and of course chatting, laughing and snacking..... a lot :)

I completed a card and 2 layouts. 

I think that is pretty good for 10 hours. 

I am really happy with how this layout turned out.
I used a Crop & Create kit to make this layout.
The kit wasn't my style, but I loved the papers, so I used these beautiful papers to make this pretty layout :)

Lots of different punches were used for these vines/flourishes. 

I seem to hoard my flair badges...but thought this one was perfect for this layout. 

I also used some long hoarded glass flowers.

This is the sketch I followed. 

I tried to find out who's sketch this was, but couldn't find the original creator. 

Again, my completed layout...now to find the perfect photo.
