This past Saturday was International Scrapbooking Day!!
I planned on just staying at home in my PJ's and crafting all day.
So I figured I'd invite anyone who wanted to, to drop by and craft with me.
Not thinking anyone would come by as we enjoyed my Friday Night Scrapbooking the night before.
I knew my friend Lynne would be there, as she (like me) is always game for spending crafty time together :)
So when I heard that 6 (I didn't get a photo of my friend Ingrid) other of my friends were going to come by, I was excited and decided to change out of my pj's and into some pants, lol.
My daughter went out and picked up some munchies for us and Myra brought us some persians...yummm,
And we can't forget my drink of choice 💗
I even completed a project!!!!
How did you spend International Scrapbooking Day?

Happy International Scrapbooking Day
Hope you all are having a great International Scrapbooking Day :)
I planned on scrapbooking all day, so told my friends to drop over if they wanted to play along.
My friend Lynne came by and we had some chuckles and instead of scrapbooking we organized, lol.
Lynne took her photos out of her sleeve albums and put them into photo boxes, and I moved from task to task, lol.
After Lynne left I worked on my albums and layouts.
My daughters have mentioned that I haven't completed their baby scrapbooks..yup, sad but true.
My oldest is 27 and I still haven't completed them.
So the first thing I did was take out their albums and some of my finished layouts that I don't have photos in.
I went through my daughter's albums and figured out what years or milestones that I had missed in these books and wrote them on sticky notes for each one.
Then I gathered up all of my layouts that weren't in albums, or that don't have photos on them.
Yup, those are all (that I know of) layouts that I have completed.
Some are completed pages with photos on them, others need photos.
I am hoping that a lot of the layouts with no photos will work in my daughter's albums...that will make completing their albums so much quicker.
I also did a quick video sharing my hopefully easy process with a couple of quick flips in their albums :)
If you would like to see the video on my YouTube Channel...just click the link "Tracy's Treasures24"
I hope you all have a very creative Scrapbooking Day :)

International Scrapbooking Day
Who celebrated International Scrapbboking Day??
I did!!!
I gave an open invitation to all of friends to come and join me for a day of creating!!
There were 5 of us busy working on our projects and of course chatting, laughing and snacking..... a lot :)
I completed a card and 2 layouts.
I think that is pretty good for 10 hours.
I used a Crop & Create kit to make this layout.
The kit wasn't my style, but I loved the papers, so I used these beautiful papers to make this pretty layout :)
Lots of different punches were used for these vines/flourishes.
I seem to hoard my flair badges...but thought this one was perfect for this layout.
I also used some long hoarded glass flowers.
This is the sketch I followed.
I tried to find out who's sketch this was, but couldn't find the original creator.
Again, my completed layout...now to find the perfect photo.
I hope you all had a very Creative International Scrapbooking Day :)

Inter-National Scrapbooking Day
Today was international Scrapbooking Day…..a day just for us Scrapbookers. Now don't you feel special :)
Guess what I did today…scrapbook of course….silly.
My friend and I made a couple of embellishments for our layouts.
I then added faux stitching and gold embossing, as I wanted it to match a manufacturers embellishment on the opposite page.
Here I am…I got my scrappy on ;)
Don't mind the messy table or the blurry photo….my friend isn't used of the iPhone, lol
Here is my scrappy partner in crime, Lynne :)
Not sure what my face is doing in this photo, lol.
Another blurry photo…but I am really not good at selfies……notice the hand in the photo as well ;)
I even cropped out most of my hand from the photo, lol.
Lynne and I were both working on our scrapbooking kits from a couple of years ago, from Crop & Create.
The kits had all of the papers, embellishments and detailed cut lists and instructions.
It was really fun to work on the same project.
Lynne and I both only seem to do 2 page layouts.
This kit came with one 2 page layout, two 1 page layouts and 4 cards.
So we made the one page layouts, into 2 page layouts….I always do this if there is a kit like this.
That is one of the reasons we made our own embellishments :)
I am an expert at making the most out of paper, so that helped with making our paper work for 2 page spreads :)
I hope you all had a very Creative Scrapbooking Day.
Did you celebrate it?
If you did, how?
