Copic Lover

I got to colour :)
I love my Copics. Sadly I haven't been colouring all that much lately….maybe its time for me to go on another Design Team ;)
This image is perfect for all of my Copic loving friends :)
The image is from Saturated Canary called Traveling Colours.
I coloured the image and paper pieced her apron and shoes :)

Here is the full project.
I love that she looks a bit like Pippi Longstocking :)

I am a glass is half full kind of person…well actually my husband likes to tell the girls that "Your mom's glass was full, but she gave me half of her's"
So I really like this sentiment.
The sentiment flag was white, but I inked it up to match the background paper.

I have been hoarding this doily die cut for quite a while. It was gifted to me by my friend Dena.
I tell you, I really had to talk myself into using this, lol.
But I think it was a perfect background for this layered flower.

Now you may be wondering, what the heck is this project.
If you know me, then you know I like to pretty ordinary stuff up ;)
So I prettied up this regular plain ol' stamp scrubber. It is used to clean your stamps on :)
I just inked some pretty paper and adhered it to the front, and added some pretties :)
I am really happy with how it turned out :)
It is a gift for a friend :)

Heidi Swapp's photo challenge was "Gold"
So I took a photo of one of our Gold shiny ornaments on our Christmas tree.

Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine's photo challenge prompt is
So I took a photo of my wrapping supplies.
Yes that green tape is still on my table, teehee.
I leave it on, I just cover it up with my table cloth.
Notice, I like to cover up unsightly messes with table cloths, lol.

Onto My Day:
Wayne took the day off of work today.
He wanted to go shopping, but had to go to the doctor first, as he has been a bit dizzy for the last week or two…or three.
He knew what the problem was and knew he needed some antibiotics, so he was off early this morning to see the doctor on call.
Then we went to mail out some parcels.
Then shopped the rest of the day.
Before bringing Heather to a dentist appointment.
Then back home to watch the last of the Mentalist…now we are up to date :)

I hope you all had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

  1. Nice to have the time with your DH...hope he feels better soon.
Your Pippi is pretty and you have not lost your touch...she is coloured beautifully!

  2. oh what a cute image and i love the card! so perfect

  3. Beautiful project, I was trying to think of who that image was of and yes looks like Pippi. Lucky friend to receive your lovely creation. Nice to spend time with Hubby although we don't usually shop together. Yesterday I went to mail my friends cards (slack I know) the PO is in the same area as Winners so had to check to see what crafty supplies they had. They did have a few spellbinders, wasn't really excited about them but I bought a Martha Stewart Crafters clay starter set, Nature for $14.99. (and not a word was said from hubby)

  4. Love your card, that doily is perfect! I'm glad you decided to use it :) I'm loving your ornament too! So pretty! Are you all done shopping and wrapping??

  5. I am always in awe of your "coloring" is quite beautiful!!!!!

  6. I hope Wayne is feeling better!

The doily is great on this project. I love that you decorated the stamp scrubber. It is so nice to decorate something that you use a lot, because then you get to see the pretty decorations all the time!

Your presents look great all wrapped! I still need to buy a few - uh oh!

  7. Love the image and what a great idea for a gift! So thoughtful. Hope Wayne is soon on the mend - wouldn't want him to be ill of Christmas! Enjoy the rest of you week.

  8. Love what you made here! So cute and super crafty popping it onto your scrubby! Your presents look oh so pretty! I skipped the ribbon this year. It looks pretty but it takes so long!

  9. Ok, this is super cute! I taste a wee bit of crow! LMAO I love the colors of this and the hair well ya know me. The sentiment is perfect for the stamp. I like the glass full too but someone is always drinking my wine! LOL
TFS sugar. Hope Wayne is feeling better :)

Leave me some love and I will return it right back to you :)
