I am having so much trouble with the Internet at the hotels.
I am also having trouble with my cell phone.
I was texting my siblings with details as I spread my dad's ashes. I wondered why they didn't get back to me, only to find out they weren't getting sent. So I tried to send one to Kristy, nope she didn't get it neither.
So I hope this post gets sent out.
Here is the blank page for my smash/junk journal.
Like I mentioned before I stamped and added paper to the other page.
One reason why I added the pattern paper, well besides for looks, is because in this journal each page is perforated. So by adding the paper it can't get torn out :)
I know this is more of a scrapbook type page. I guess most of them are, but that is how I roll ;)Wayne and Kristy have been taking photos of me spreading my dad's ashes and the beautiful places we are doing it. So I want to add a photo to the blank page.
Close up of the journaling.
Today was spent driving, driving and oh ya driving, lol.
We did go to a Walmart. I bought so much more paper stacks and something else to help hold my journal stuff. Oh what an excuse to by more goodies
You are all a treasure to me. Thank you.
I am having trouble getting on the Internet, so I am having trouble replying to your comments and checking out your blogs. When I can finally have a decent Internet connection I will come and visit you all.
Again thank you Hugs to each and every one of you.
Tracy

ReplyDeleteIt's quite Smashing! HAHAHA! Sorry...I couldn't help it. But, no, really, you are doing a great job! This is such a special way to record something so very meaningful to you!
ReplyDeleteVery nice, Tracy!
ReplyDeletethis is so awesome tracy! love it
ReplyDeleteI really like those pages. I don't think it looks like a scrapbook layout at all. Besides even if it did who cares, it's yours and it's beautiful and one day your daughters will share it with their children and they will love it.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are doing well and the bittersweet sting is subsiding. Big hugs to you.
Great pages and awesome goodies that you picked up.
ReplyDeleteI am impressed that you are managing to keep up you blog even with issues! Safe driving. And driving. And driving. :0)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors and stamping. Hope things go well on your trip
ReplyDeleteLoving your Smash book.
ReplyDeleteI know Montana is such a big state to drive through. We think nothing of driving an hour and a half to eat breakfast at IHOP. Crazy, I know.
And I know cell service can be very spotty thoughout the state too.
Glad you found a few goodies to take back with you.
Enjoy your vacation and don't worry about the Internet. You can catch up when you get home.

ReplyDeleteI love your Smashbook. But most of all, ((((((HUGS))))). You and your family have been in my thoughts this week. I know it has been difficult. But it is gratifying knowing the fond memories that you had with your dad. Take care!
