Another card :)
Are you tired of these yet?
I still have a few more to share from my girls creative get away.
I love that paper in the center. The colours are so pretty.
I tried to match the butterfly and the flowers to the colours in the paper.
The inside of the card.
Used my recipe (index) cards again and stamped the image.
Onto My Day:
We went out to pick up Blake, Kristy's boyfriend.
We picked up Heather's Birthday Cake for tomorrow.
It was just starting to snow. By the time we drove back home it was white out conditions.
I was happy Wayne was driving. I don't really care to drive in bad weather.
I made a big turkey dinner for supper tonight.
Wayne has to go back to work tomorrow, so I wanted to make a nice meal to say goodbye to his holidays :(
So I also invited the boyfriends over for supper.
We did get a lot of snow today.
Here is the front of our house.
This is the visibility out of our dinning room window.
We have a few spots to look out of.
And lastly here are our vehicles.
The snow drifts are up to the doors.
When is spring going to get here. I am so tired of ice and snow. I want summer, I want flowers and I want warm sunshine.
You can see that by looking at my Pinterest. My biggest board is creative outdoors, lol.
I enjoyed Walking Dead tonight, boy Lori is getting to me.
I did not work on Heather's mini album at all today :(
I just am not motivated to work on it. I am excited on what I want to do with it, but just can't get off my arse to do anything.
I think tomorrow, I will fill up my glass with Coca-Cola and get down to the scrap/craft room and get down to business.
I hope my BIL's and SIL's got out of town yesterday. They are all driving to South for their yearly vacation. They were going to leave this morning, but I think everyone encouraged them to leave yesterday. Hope the weather on the way isn't as bad as it is here.
Hope you all had a great weekend, and a creative Sunday :)
Tracy :)

Tracy :)
Wow! Yous really got hit by snow! We got about 15 cm on Friday.
ReplyDeleteLove the image on your card and you did a great job colouring it!
Love your pretty card Tracy~
ReplyDeleteWow I don't believe it's still snowing... It is pretty, but I sure don't think I would be able to handle dealing with this type of weather.... Oh no!
It sure can't beat Hawaii's weather... LOL!!!
Beautiful card. I love those colors together. We've only had flurries this season and I am so thankful. Our winter is almost over. If we lived in Florida this wouldn't be a problem, but no, hubby says it's too hot! Grrr. I made the mistake of really looking at my scrapdungeon and realized how much of a mess it is. Good lordy I've got some work to do. My kids were sick with a yucky stomach flu from Wed. night and then again on the weekend. So happy they are going back to school tomorrow. Sounds like you had a great dinner and I hope you get to craft tomorrow!
ReplyDeleteWHOA~ that's a lot of snow!
ReplyDeleteLovely card which reminds me I need to make some more thank you cards.
Have a wonderful week!!
I really like your butterfly card-i have one on my blog too. You guy,s are really getting slammed with the white stuff. I can't complain about the snow this year as we really haven't had that much. Yummy turkey dinner sounds delicious.

ReplyDeleteWow, that's a lot of snow. We need some of that in our neck of the woods. Lol.
Lovely card! Boy, you have a lot of snow.We got a flurry on Friday...melted soon as it hit the ground and 15 minutes today. stuck for about 3 minutes and then melted...thanks goodness. I love it to look out on but don't enjoy struggling to walk on it!
ReplyDeleteanother awesome card! i love butterflies!
ReplyDeletethis winter has been very strange for us--usually we get snow but this winter we haven't had any--just a light dusting! i hate it!
I'm glad we don't have the snow you have!! It's supposed to be 4C (40F) here today and up to 11C (52F) with thunderstorms on Wed.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you have lots of cards to share. They're all wonderful and this butterfly one is super pretty!
I want to wish Heather a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! How sweet of you to make a turkey dinner for Wayne's last day of holiday!! Sounds pretty good to me right now! LOL!
Oh my! What a storm. Pretty card. Another great thing about this hobby is that our stamped images can take us to another season even if the real weather isn't cooperating. Stay warm!

well I am glad we are not neighbors at the moment. It was 50 degrees last week and we had about a dozen flakes but that was it.
ReplyDeleteI can't wait to see the mini and you are right, I am LAME! I try to cheat but you called me out. Okay taking next month off swaps to get to work;)
I used another one of your flowers and of course the only one like that one. UGH... LOL watch the vid on me blog. hugs,Pea
Wow, that's a lot of snow! Seems like everywhere else is getting NO snow this year, didn't you guys get the memo? Lol I always love how you match your colors so well to your paper.
ReplyDeleteI grew up near Buffalo, and that was a common sight! I don't miss it all all. We still get snow, but a little less frequently, and not nearly as much! I don't envy you, at all!
ReplyDeletePoor you :( this weather is really bad isn`t it? hope it has cleared by now and the snow is fading away! We had the most glorious day today here in the UK warm spring day, and we spent most of it outside in the park. Hope you will get the spring soon as well!
ReplyDeleteI love your card the clean and simple lines make it into such a beautiful one! Love that you matched the flowers and the butterflies to the stripy paper :) Stay warm X
