Who could not love this cute little face.
This is my grandson Sawyer and I just love him to bits.
I spent Valentines Day with him...best Valentines Day ever :)
My daughter Ashley did a little Valentines photo shoot of him.
Isn't he just adorable!!!!
I also love the background...they are his crib sheets that have "I love you" written on them.
Did I tell you I can't get enough of this little guy <3 p="">He sure has my heart.
My daughter takes such beautiful photos, even when the model doesn't want any part of it, teehee.
Every time Ashley would take the camera away from her face and chat with Sawyer, he would give his mama the biggest grin.
But here is my true Valentine.
Wayne and I have been together since I was 16 yrs old...I'll be 50 this year, so you do that math.
I tease my SIL to never do the math, lol.
I hope you all had a nice Valentines Day.
Wayne and I just sat around tonight and watched a movie as I did paper work.
I don't even think I ate a piece a chocolate today.....I better get on that!

February 2016 Tag
Good thing we have an extra day this year...or I wouldn't have completed my February tag for Tim Holtz "12 Tags of 2016"...and I want to complete them all this year.
Here is how my tag turned out...so different from Tim's...and so different from what I started with.
Tim is revisiting past techniques this year.
Funny thing is the techniques he has been sharing so far, have been ones I have not done before, as I missed a year here and there.
The one technique I thought was interesting was to use distress stain and ink up your stencil, then flip the stencil on the tag to transfer the ink to the tag.
I do not like how mine turned out...but no worries, I will save this tag for another month, October maybe since it looks like blood splatter, lol.
So I went a whole different route.
I also thought his technique to sprinkle embossing powder to embossing paste was a pretty cool idea as well...so lets see how this one turned out, lol.
I didn't want to fill in all of the hearts with embossing paste, so used sticky notes to mask them off.
To be able to see my exact placement, I held it up to the light....looks pretty good to me :)
They turned out nice a crisp..perfect!
Now when Tim Holtz warns you about what NOT to do during a technique...my advice, Listen, lol
I have done this many times and many times I get the same result, why....because I am impatient, lol.
I was to sprinkle the embossing powder to the embossing paste and let air dry...not dry it with my heat gun.
But being the rebel that I am thought...what the heck, whatever happens happens.
Yup, the embossing paste bubbled, lol.
Which I am fine with, now I have puffy gold hearts.
As much as I like the crisp gold on the black, I thought it was a bit plain, even when I added my other elements.
So I decided to use some white ink to stamp some text.
Then I forgot to take photos of the rest of the process, lol.
So here are some close ups of the completed tag.
This here may be my favourite part of the tag.
Love all of these metal embellishments.
The game piece spinner and screw thingy are from Tim Holtz, not sure where I picked up the heart locket, but isn't it so pretty :)
One last look at my tag for this month.
I didn't do a video for this tag as I have a pretty nasty cold.
I didn't think listening to me cough, sniffle and sneeze would make for a good video, lol.
I hope you were all creative today :)

Happy Valentine's Day
Today is Valentines day, but Wayne and I are more excited about the new episode of the Walking Dead!!!
With that in mind, here is the Valentines Day card I made my honey ;)
Wayne surprised me this morning with some flowers and chocolate.
He isn't big on flowers...jewellery, yes, flowers not so much.
I was pretty surprised when I saw him come in with flowers today.
He told me, I figured it has been about 28 years since I last gave you flowers, I thought it was due time, lol.
Actually the first time he had given me flowers was when he proposed and the ring was in one of the roses.
He has got me flowers a couple of times in our 33 yrs together, but today's flowers surprised me more then when he proposed to me, lol.
I hope you all have a wonderful and creative Valentines Day :)
We are having a Walking Dead marathon before the new episode starts....perfect day!!

A giveaway and Happy Valentines Day
Happy Valentines Day
I hope you got to enjoy it with the one/ones that you love.
Or if not, I hope you pampered yourself.
Let it be you made yourself a wonderful meal..or ordered out.
Had a chocolate or two…or three ;)
I hope you all had a wonderful day.
My honey and I went out for lunch after an appointment we had.
I think I should have touched up my manicure before taking this photo ;)
Guess what….
I am having a giveaway :)
It has been 4 years (Jan 1 2010) since I did my first post on my blog :)
It has been 4 years (Feb 11 2010) since I did my first video on my YouTube channel.
Wow, 4 years has sure come and gone.
Here is a video on my give away and how you can enter.
I have also done a secret give-away for all my subscribers that comment daily or almost daily.
But I will draw them all at the same time.
So good luck and be sure to comment :)
If you want to watch the video on my Youtube Channel Tracy's Treasures24
Guess what else I did today.
I went to see my great niece Eva. She was born yesterday.
She is just so precious. Like a perfect little doll.
My niece is doing great and so is Eva.
Every time I hold a new born baby, I end up tearing up.
I remember when I held my sister's baby girl in the hospital, Heather said "mom it looks like you are going to cry"
My sister said "Yes, that is what your mom does whenever she holds a new baby"
And here I thought I was a good actress ;)
Funny story.
Well funny as my husband was busting a gut.
As I was walking to the jeep, I tripped on the extension cord outside.
I was so close to recovering…but didn't make it…landed face first in the driveway.
Wayne seen me but wasn't sure what I was doing as he was in the jeep.
When I got up, and opened the door, Wayne asked what I was doing.
I fell..thank you so much for helping me.
Wayne thought I was running to the back of the jeep to put the flowers in, that I had bought for my niece.
After Wayne realized what happened, and that I was okay, He laughed and laughed.
He laughed so much, I thought he was going to choke.
Actually I kinda hoped he would have, lol.
All is good, the flowers survived the fall.
I hope you all had a creative Friday :)

Valentines Banner
Remember the little banner kit I bought at Target in their dollar spot?
Here it is all put together.
Kristy enjoyed making this for her big sister Ashley.
She didn't use the sparkly hearts.
Oh I'm wrong, I see two pink ones on either end of the banner.
I had to run out and get a few groceries….and of course toilet paper, teehee.
So I phoned Ashley to see when she was taking her lunch, so we could meet up at her house.
I made sure I got there before she did to put up the banner.
She was touched :)
It looks cute on the mantle that I made Ashley doesn't it ;)
See that little teepee?
That is Sebastian's (Ashley's cat) bed.
I dont' think he goes in there though, lol.
He has been know to lay on the top of it. Which scares Ashley as she thinks he may impale himself on the sticks. I am sure that wouldn't happen though.
I spent most of my day waiting for the refinishing guy to come by the house.
We had a couple of chairs from our new dining room set, that were flawed.
Also a few scratches on the table top.
I am a bit upset..okay a lot upset, as the sales person assured me that the finish was durable.
I questioned this as the table on display had many fine scratches on it.
He again reassured me that they now use a better finish and this wouldn't happen…Right!!
Enough of my complaining for today :)
I hope you all had a very creative Tuesday :)
