Look at the beauties I picked up today :)
I have some Gorjuss girl stamps :)
The first time I had seen these images they reminded me of my daughter Heather.
Then I showed them to my daughter Ashley and she said the same thing.
So I showed them to Heather and she told me she had the "Alice" image saved on her computer.
So I showed her the site and she picked out most of the ones I had ordered ;)
These 3 are made of the grey rubber.
They are "Alice", "Poppy wood"and "The Lost Heart".
The last ones are all the clear stamps.
These ones are "Puddles of Love", "I Love you Little Rabbit" and "My Secret Place".
These last two are "Ruby" version 2, and "New Heights".
I can't wait to ink these beauties up :)
Onto My Day:
It was one of those Tetris Days.
You know those days where everything has to fit in place in the perfect time frame.
Heather and I ran to Futures Shop as she is looking for a laptop, and wanted to do some more research. And me to Chapters looking for my Magnolia magazine, which I couldn't find.
I wanted to go over the border to pick up not only my packages but a couple of Ashley's.
Ashley's were there days ago, but when I kept phoning they said mine weren't there.
Funny as when I checked the tracking it said that they were there.
I guess they just hadn't processed them in their system.
So I gambled and just went. Luckily they were there when I got there :)
As we left later then usual, the restaurants all closed at 2:00. So we had lunch at the gas station. It was a sit down little place. Sharon and I had shrimp and Heather Chicken strips...everything was really good.
And can you believe I drank a chocolate milk instead of a coca-cola. I am trying to only drink pop/coke during the weekend. So far so good, I haven't had one since Sunday afternoon :)
Hope you had a creative Thursday :)
Tracy :)

Loving the stamps!!! Can't wait to see the fantasticness you create with those! It's so hard waiting on a package, isn't it? We ate in a couple of gas stations on our trip and the food was good too. Way to go with the coke!! It's so hard to quit/cut back. I still get cravings :)
ReplyDeleteLove the stamps!! Good for you for getting chocolate milk and keeping your goal!
ReplyDeleteFunny, I was going to do a post with a similar "gorguss" title! (0; I recently got my first gorguss stamps.. one much more expensive than the other, since I didn't know where to buy them at first. But I got "Rose" in the gray rubber stamp, thinking she was fairly versatile for any number of projects, and then I got "Awashed", which is a clear mermaid stamp. I really like the one you got, "Ruby" on the swing. I should get that one, she's so CUTE, and I remember all the time I spent on the swings when I was a kid!.. ((hugs)) and have a great weekend! ~tina
