I have another card to share with you today.
I created this one for my DT challenge, "Create a Scene"
Go and check out LBBS and get the details to this challenge and enter your card for a chance to win some fun prizes :)
First I have to apologize for the brightness of my photos.
Let me first set the scene for ya....I thought I would be creative and stage my card beside some greenery that is finally coming up in my back yard.
I positioned the card perfectly to catch the perfect lighting to snap the perfect photo. Can you imagine how perfect everything was, teehee.
Except I turn on my camera and.....nothing. Its dead.
So frustrated I brought my card inside and took the photos with my cell phone.
Mind you I think they still turned out pretty good.
Okay now on to my card.
I wanted to create a mystical garden scene. I love fairies and butterflies and flowers.
What better paper to use then Graphic 45 Once Upon a Springtime collection. One of my favourite paper collections of theirs.
I used Miss Lilly Cutie, and a cutie she is :)
I fussy cut these flowers. And layered them, I think I have 3 or 4 different layers of these flowers on here.
Coloured Miss Lilly with my Copics and paper pieced her dress and hair band.
You can see a little better of some of the layers of the flowers.
See the cute fairy whispering in Miss Lilly's ear.
I see this photo is a bit blurry, but in the little cell phone viewer, it looked clear at the time ;)
Here is the inside of the card.
I kept is simple as always and just added some leftover paper and a tag from Paula Dean's tag pad.
I wanted to show you a funny thing I came across during my morning walk :)
This knit bear head was posted on a stick. I had to laugh when I saw it.
Lord of the Flies anyone?
I hope you all have had a creative Friday and have a enjoyable weekend :)
Don't forget to check out all the DT's projects for this two week challenge and enter your projects as well :)
