I made this card with an image from Olga of Little Blue Button Stamps.
I am on her design team and when she sent me her latest images, I fell in love with this image.
It reminds me of my oldest daughter Ashley, a photographer and fashion lover :)
I have to apologize for the photo.
I have always admitted that I am not a photographer or very technical.
Well this proves it, lol.
I took the photo and when I uploaded to my laptop, it was crooked.
I was to lazy to walk downstairs to take another one, so I thought what the heck, I will try and tweak it in my photo program.
So I turned it, saved it and some how deleted the original image, lol.
Isn't she so cute!!!
I wanted to colour her hair red as my Ashley has red hair :)
I also matted the image with a Polaroid shaped card stock, I cut out with my paper trimmer.
I finally used one of those wood pieces.
I think they are so cool, but I seem to hoard them ;)
Here is the first card I made.
I wanted to use a Polaroid mat .....check.
I wanted to use the camera wood piece ...check.
I wanted to use this film strip washi tape ...check.
I used two strips of washi tape one on top of the other...but when I put it down, it got lost in the busy paper.
Don't you agree.
Doesn't it look better with these less busy papers under the film strip washi tape :)
And yes I took another photo, this one is with my cell phone, I think it turned out pretty good :)
Oh and Bonus, I remembered to share the marker I used :)
I used a different combination of colours for the skin tone then I normally use, not sure about it yet.

Hope you all have had a creative Wednesday :)

That IS an adorable image :) I love it when I find images that remind me of my girls. Makes it that much more fun to buy them. Like I need an excuse or something. Lol! I hoard those little wood pieces too, I wonder why? But I hoard everything!
