Happy New Year :)

Good Bye 2011....Hello 2012

My Resolutions for 2011 were:
Scrap booking:

Do a double page layout once a month..... Epic Fail, I did 1 double page layout this whole year.

Try my hand at some sketches...... Fail, I think I may have done 1

Try some challenges....... Yeah...I did and complete my He-Art journal :)

Finish my Camp/cottage journal........ Fail I think I am still a year behind

Make more mini albums, even if they don't have a purpose...i love those..... Yeah...I really surpassed this goal.

Other Crafts:

Make my Christmas quilt that I bought for this year...Oops totally forgot about this one.

Sew my purses that I bought patterns for..... I think I did this one, can't remember which pattern it was, lol.

Continue to enjoy my paper crafts..... Well this was a no brainer, teehee.

Make the projects that I wanted to make last year...... I did this :)

Tweak my blog and YouTube channel...... Still to scared to touch anything on here in fear of erasing my blog ;)

Life Goals:

Get more active, I need this for my health, not an option.... Embarrassed to say, I didn't do to good in this area.

Loose 10 lbs these.... Did I say loose, oops

I would love to end the soda but not cut down........this one was a big fail as well.

Eat more healthy...Can't say that I succeeded in this area either :(

Be creative everyday. This does not mean making a project everyday, but being creative in one way or the other....I did this one :)

Put myself first. This is going to be the hardest of all. I put my family and friends first....Yup failed yet again.
Now I feel like a failure, lol.
For this year I want to work on the goals I had last year.
But my big thing is to stop my Procrastination.
I am so bad for this. I have always said that I am the best procrastinator. If there was a prize for this, I would win it hands down.
But this year I am really going to work on "Just do it", and do it now.

Had my SIL, Sharon, her hubby Jim, and Kristy's boyfriend Blake over for dinner and enjoyed some laughs.
When the clock stuck midnight, I opened the front and back door of our home to let the old year out and to welcome the new year in.
So here is to 2012!
Looking forward to the great experiences, and new friends that this New Year will bring to my life.

Hope your New year is one full of Happiness.

  3. Happy New Year!!! Wishing you and your family a wonderful New Year. Lots of crafting in 2012 hehe... =)

  4. Happy New Year Tracey, Hope you meet all your challenges for 2012 like I hope to do, lol... well we can try. It was a quiet New Years, my grandson spent the night and we enjoy his visits. Have a good day. Pat

  5. You still accomplished so much in 2011. :-) If I blogged about my New Years resolutions failures, it would be an epic post. lol! Happy New Year!

  6. It is always a hit or of my goals is a picture a day; I have seen this one and now that I have a new camera, think that I will give it a shot!
Ha, we " missed " midnight! Were waiting and the next thing we knew, it was almost 1 M. The kids knew, but said nothing! Lol. We were up well past 2- I cannot remember the last time we were up that late (other than catching a flight last year). Happy 2012! may you achieve a few more goals! One of mine is also to be more active. :0)

  7. You can be quite hard on yourself, I have enjoyed so much visiting your blog.
Happy new year and all the best for 2012.
    Happy crafting
    Tracy x

  8. Happy New years! Love the list! I think that you have been super crafty all year! Love reading your blog and seeing what you have done! I can't believe that you only did one 1 page layout. That is all I do! I have a hard time trying to make it 1 page. Plus, I am sure that my PA Me could give your inner procrastinator a run for her money! Have a great day! -Amanda

  9. Hope you and your family have a wonderful New year. That is a great list. Sometimes we put too much pressure on ourselves that we think we've failed at everything but that isn't true. (I'm the same way). You completed some things so you should be proud!

  10. You know, I don't even write down my resolutions anymore and I only pick one now, because I end up feeling bad if I don't do them all! I think you did great because you succeeded in more than one! Have a wonderful new year! I can't wait to see what fabulous creative posts you share this year!

  11. I wish you luck in your goals for this year. I also would encourage you to not get upset about not scrapping a certain amount. Do what you like, it's supposed to be fun, not a requirement :)

  12. All the best with your new goals for the year! Happy new year to you! :D

  13. Happy New year my friend. I forgot to let the old year out! I hope it isn't stuck here and we have a repeat. UGH.

  14. Happy New Years. I think resolutions are really hard to keep. I saw on a fellow YT channel where a lady picked one word to aspire to in the New Year and I really liked that idea, less chance of not completing. tfs

  15. I remember your 2011 list and oh what a list it was, lol! You knocked out a fair amount I'd say though :) I copied your idea and opened the doors at midnight. Felt good to do that! Happy New Year my friend, this is going to be a great one!

  16. I hope this year is better than all before! Big Hugs!
