I stamped the cupcake on 2 different pattern papers and fussy cut around the images. I really don't like to fussy cut. That is why I like punches :)I raised the icing of the cupcake with a foam tape, and put a jewel on the tip.
This is a quick post as Survivor is on tonight. We have watched this TV show ever since it first came on. We would make a fun evening of it. We would get munchies and pop and let the girls stay up late to watch it. Now it is only Hubby, Heather and I. And usually no munchies.I ran around all day. I did slip into the Micheal's and the quilt store. Not sure how that happened LOL. When I came home I crashed. I think I feel a cold coming on. Ashley and Kristy had a bad cold before and during our trip. I am hoping that I can just sleep it off. Well here is to hoping.

I like the card. I don't think it looks juvenile. The other one turned out beautiful as well so I don't think you could have gone wrong with either one. No crafting for me today, okay I did just happen to stop in Michael's and AC Moore today. Tomorrow is my relaxing scrappy day.

ReplyDeleteThe card is super cute - very similar to one I made earlier in the week at a tools/technique course - one thing we did there was put Stickles on the icing - it looked super cute!
As to Survivor, I am now the only one that watches it - so I tape it and watch it the next day!
I'm a terrible cutter, but yours turned out great! Very nice card, not too juvenile.
