Wow this is my 7th Design Team project with Redonkulous Designs.
Sheryl has opened up a new store, I'm so excited for her.
This week I decided to use this beautiful image called Floral Heart. It comes with 14 different sentiments that are placed inside the heart.
So not only do you get this beautiful image, but you get the sentiments as well.
Here is a closer look at the image. I coloured it up with my Copic markers and a couple of Stampin' Up markers for the tighter spots.
I heard that you can change the nibs on the Copic markers, has anyone else heard this. I would love to change out my chisel ends on some of mine to a finer tip.
The inside of my card.
Again I used my recipe/index cards to write something on inside, backed it with some left over pattern paper from the front and backed it all with a piece of cardstock.
Here are the markers I had used on this image.
Stampin' Up markers are pear pizzazz and certainly celery.
Oops I fibbed. I did not use cardstock on this card at all.
I was at our cottage when I made this card and just brought a 6x6 pack of paper and my markers.
So what I did was take some white paper (from staples) and cut it to the size I wanted for my mat. Then I edged it with the colour I wanted and voila, coloured paper that looks like cardstock.
Sneaky aren't I ;)
Ohhhh whats this you ask, a bonus card?!?
Your right. I couldn't decide which background paper I liked better with this coloured up image so I made 2 of them.
But with this image the inside of the heart is blank, so I was free to put inside, whatever I wanted.
You can stamp it with a sentiment that you have.
Or do like I did and add some dimension to it.
I punched a couple of butterflies and placed them inside the heart.I
also punched out these flowers and leaves. I know I use these simple
punched flowers a lot, but I just love the simplicity of them.
So I think that is enough from me today, with my super long post.
But so much to share.
And I am not done with the sharing.....oh no.
Go check out what the other Design Team members have done with the images they received for this week.
