Happy Halloween :)

Grrrrrr, here is Kristy's masterpiece for the season :)
Did you guess the Hulk, then you're correct :)

Here is Heather's masterpiece for the season.
If you guessed Jack Skellington, then you are correct.

And lastly here is Wayne's masterpiece...you thought I was going to say Ashley didn't you, teehee.
Ashley just likes to take the guts out of the pumpkins, not so much the carving part.
If you guessed a witch riding her broom in the moonlight then again you are correct.

Brains....said in the voice of the zombie monster from Return of the Living Dead ;)
We all enjoy eating the seeds from the pumpkin. I separate them and then add some salt and seasoning and toast them in the oven. What I don't like to do is separate the seeds from the goo.
I don't like to touch gooey things. I don't even like to touch raw meat...never mind mixing hamburger...gross.

I did a couple of videos yesterday. They are Short and sweet.

We only a little over 20 kids come to our home tonight. It was chilly out, but not freezing and not raining so I was really expecting so many more :(
How about you, how many kids came to your door?

Hope you all had a creative Halloween Wednesday :)

Treat Toppers

Here's one of my favourite little witches:)
You have seen her many times over the years on my blog, on cards, mini albums and now on treat toppers.
Every year I make special treat bags for the girls across the street. This is something I am putting in their special bags. My girls are older and just want the candy, lol.
So I coloured this little cutie with my Copic markers.

I put a couple of chocolate bars in the bag and closed it up, then stapled the topper on.

I decided to make some for Kristy and her friends as well.
I used my left over papers, some sticker ribbon and a stamp on theirs.
But seriously, you know they just want the candy ;)

Onto My Day:
I was out most of the day.
I met Ashley at Winners as she and Kristy took a yoga class tonight. Ashley needed a yoga mat, Kristy used mine.
Then Heather and I went to Michaels. I picked up an ink and was going to get the oval Spellbinders die, as I thought it was on sale. Turns out that cuttlebug stuff was on sale. Spellbinders was buy one get one 40% off. So I decided to wait until I could use a coupon.
I gave him my gift card that Wayne had bought me, and he told me after my purchase, that I had $4.99 left on the card.
I was like "your kidding me right, this gift card was over $150.00."  He tried to phone the main place that handles them, after 15 minutes of him on hold. I told him I would phone the number at home.
Turns out, Heather told me that the one I used isn't the one Wayne had bought me.
Looks like I will be tearing the house apart tomorrow looking for it :(

I have lost 2 lbs since I started watching what I eat...at this rate I should reach my goal in 2022, lol
Mind you I really haven't taken it as seriously as I could be. I have only walked about 5 times. When we were in Winnipeg we ate out for every meal.
I guess I should be proud that I didn't gain any weight, teehee.

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?

Hope you all had a creative Tuesday :)

Defunkifying My Life Revisited

I am going to re-start my "Defunkifying My Life" series again.
I am thinking that working on one area a week is a good goal.
Ohhh I have so many goals :)
So for this week we are going to revisit our past Defunkifying goals. As I am sure we could all use a revisit.
So our 1st Defunkifying mission was to organize our paper work.
 http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.ca/2012/04/day-1-of-my-defunkifying-sunday.html

2nd Defunkifying mission was to organize one of our junk drawers.
http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.ca/2012/04/defunkifying-my-life-pt-2.html

3rd Defunkifying mission was to organize our desk area.
http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.ca/2012/04/defunkifying-my-lifepart-3.html

4th Defunkifying mission was to organize a closet.
http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.ca/2012/04/defunkifying-my-life-part-4-skeletons.html

5th Defunkifying mission was to tackle another closet (bedroom), we have so many of them.
 http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.ca/2012/05/defunkifying-my-lifepart-5-bedroom.html

I think I must have had too many skeletons in my closet because I kind of stopped after that one.
Then yesterday I did my dies. I think I will include them in with this series as our scrap/craft rooms are a big part of our lives.
http://tracystreasures-tracy.blogspot.ca/2012/10/defunkfying-my-dies-video.html

I think this should keep you busy until next week ;)
Come and join me in Defunkifying our lives.

I just thought I would share with you a photo I took today.
You may wonder why there is a pop (my favourite Coca-Cola) can on the ground.
When Wayne brought my case of pop in the other day, he hit the side of his plow and and one sprang a leak. It was shooting pop all over. So he just chucked it on the ground to let it do its thing.
Notice I said a few days ago...yup still out there.
I guess it will be staying there until I pick it up and throw it out.

Onto My Day:
My day was spent tidying up, replying to emails and doing some bookwork.
Today just seemed to go by way to fast.

Hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Defunkifying My Life Pt 6...My Dies Video

Totally completed my thin die organization.

I told you I was going to make a video of this, explaining in more detail about the way the different thin dies are organized.
Plus there are a few chuckles in the video that I was going to take out...but thought I would leave them in for a laugh or two.

 Onto My Day:
I spent my day catching up on some book work.
Now hubby and I are watching the Walking Dead. AMC is showing all the shows from the start of this season. This makes me happy :)

I hope you all had a creative Sunday :)

Scrap Cards second set

I had a fun Scrapbooking Night last night.
4 of my friends came and we all made some cards.
I kind of forgot I was going to share how to make some cards out of scraps....until someone reminded me, then they were all teasing me  ;)
So I came up with this easy card a few weeks ago for a card Sharon wanted to make.
A much easier sketch then the last set of scrap cards.

I even did a bit of colouring on this one. I only used 3 colours and I didn't even need my cheater glasses, lol.
I used my copics on the dragonfly.

I made a few cards today as well.
I guess I have another set to give away. I am going to make a few more for an even dozen.
I like this set for the fact that I got to use my cardstock scraps as well.

Here are the measurements for this card.
Base= 8.5x5.5  score in half to get a 5.5x 4 1/2 (card)
Card Front= 5 1/4 x4(card stock)
Panels= 2.5 x 3 13/16 (pattern paper)
Middle panel= 2x 3 1/4 (card stock)
Stamped panel= 1 13/16x 3 1/16

You can play around with the measurements to fit your scraps.
I did. If you notice some of the space between the pattern paper are different then others.

Onto My Day:
Everyone had to work today except for Ashley and I.
I worked on a video of my die organization...which took most of the afternoon. Not sure why it took so long, but it did.  I will share the video tomorrow.

I am now watching (not really) a football game. Well actually Wayne is watching it and I am doing book work. Is it sad that I would rather work then watch football.
Mind you those guys with their tight pants are pretty easy on the eyes ;)

I hope you all had a creative Saturday :)

Defunkifying My Dies Pt 2

I organized my dies today.
I was planning on working all day, but this was just calling out to me ;)
I got this idea from Aeryn Kelly. She gave me the idea to use these plastic CD envelopes.
Then I took from there :)

Hard to believe that they took up two of these drawers and now they all fit into one...with lots of room to grow ;)
I cut the plastic packaging up for other projects. If you know me, I like to make use out of everything.

Here is the front and back to these envelopes.
I should have shared a different set of dies, as this one was the ones from the CD cases, so I didn't have the original packaging. I had to print this up from the internet.
I used the original packaging on the other dies.
I am in the process of doing a video as I can go into more detail on a video :)

Onto My Day:
Tonight is my Friday Night Scrapbooking :)
It looks like a full house tonight with more colouring...or teaching colouring going on tonight.
My friend Myra is getting into Copics and wants me to show her the basics. Colouring will help her pass the time, as she has just had her second knee replacement.

I hope you have all had a creative Friday :)

Defunkifying my Dies

I am still defunkifying my life.
I know I kind of put things on hold during the summer.
I was hoping to do the whole house before I started with the ol' craft/scrapbooking room.

But I was using my dies the other day and just got fed up with taking them out of the packaging. Those suckers can cut you.
As you can see from the photo I had started putting them CD cases (about 5 yrs ago)....I think I did 4 and then quit.
So I am trying something a bit different.
I have quit a few ideas on how I can organize them. I am a flipper so I had to keep that in mind.
I am working on this tonight while we watch the tube, so hopefully I will be done it tonight so I can share it with you tomorrow.

Onto My Day:
I was a cold one today...so not liking the cold weather and it hasn't even really started yet.
Hubby and I went to Canadian Tire tonight, then to Staples.
Did a short walk today, and that is about it.

Hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

Creative goodies

I made a visit to my LSS.
Sadly it is closing and this is the last one in town.
I had mentioned that the store was hit hard by the flood our city had. Sadly I think it affected her business, as she still hasn't been able to keep regular hours. I think she has only been open 6 days since May.
Yes it is a sad day.
She was open today so I went to pick up some adhesive for my tape gun as she is the only one that carries my tape. Unfortunately she was sold out of it, but she is going to still order it even after her store closes.
I couldn't leave empty handed ;)
So I picked up a couple of cute stamps.

I also picked up some fun papers.
I know I didn't need either the stamps or the paper but I couldn't leave empty handed ;)

Onto My Day:
Listening - Survivor in the boob tube
Eating - nothing
Drinking -coca-cola (my last sip from my 1 can a day)
Wearing - yoga pants and a t-shirt...ready to grab a blanket
Weather -its raining its pouring
Wanting - to colour some images
Needing -chocolate
Thinking -chocolate
Enjoying - sitting on my arse with Wayne and Heather watching our show :)

I hope you all enjoyed a creative day :)
I wasn't creative today, but I did get a walk in. I chatted with a friend on the phone and walked around the house the whole time....1 hour, and that was a short phone call ;)

Once Upon a Fairy

I made a card today with my scraps :)
I used some of my left over papers from Once Upon a Springtime paper collection.
I think these and the Steampunk are my two favourite collections from Graphic 45.
I used this sketch from MFTWSC71 .

I had coloured this image a few months ago.
It is a stamp from My Favorite Things, isn't she so sweet.
I coloured her up with my Copics.

I wanted to play with my new flower die from Spellbinders.
Actually I made this flower a few weeks ago, before I even thought of making this card.
I am not sure how I like this die.

The reason being, it is so high. It looks like a cabbage, lol.
This is the first one I had made so it may get better as I make more.
But then again if you know me, then you know I need things to turn out the first time.

Here is the inside of this card.

Onto My Day:
It rained all day today. It was a muggy day, and I just didn't feel like doing anything.
I did make myself walk on the treadmill for 35 minutes.
Then Heather and I spent most of the day watching SuperNatural...I had to get in some eye candy today, Ohhh Dean ;)  teehee.
I also tidied up the house a bit.

So what have you done today to make you feel proud?
I......went on the treadmill
I.....lost some weight, not a lot but a bit.
I....enjoyed the day with my daughter.

I hope you all had a creative Tuesday :)

Scaredy Cat.

Look at the size of this cat, wow.
It is as big as the house :)
Heather and I were running around and drove past this huge kitty, so I got Heather to take a photo for me.

Onto My Day:
I spent most of my day cleaning the house.
I went for a 35 minute walk on the treadmill. I usually listen to music while I am on the treadmill, but today I took my Ipad and watched a video.  I still think I prefer my music, it gets me to walk faster ;)
Then after supper, Ashley wanted me to go with a walk with her, so another 35 minute walk. I enjoy walking with my girl.

I ran to Michael's to look for a box to alter for my card set.
They had some bags in a bin for $2.00 each. I picked up 3, the reason being is that they each had a 7 Gypsies artists tray in them. There were a few other things in the bag, but I just wanted the trays. Funny thing is I had picked up one of these trays for .01c a few months ago.

I hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Scrap Card Set finished

I am finished a Christmas gift :)
I put together these cards with my scraps. I don't think that I have even made a dent in them though.
My photo didn't come out very well, it looks kind of faded.

Here are the measurements for the cards.

Here is the whole set of cards.
I made two of each colour.
12 cards in all, I also stamped 12 envelopes.
I am going to alter a box to fit them all into.
I will share that when I have it done :)

Onto My Day:
I spent most of the day working on these cards and watching some television with Wayne.
Wayne and I have been married for almost 25 yrs and dated 4 yrs before that. I didn't realize he likes sappy romance movies. I wanted to watch some zombie movies and he turned on The Cutting Edge 3, lol.

Well I am off to watch The Walking Dead. Actually I am going to re-watch the one from last week first :)   So excited!!!!

I hope you all had a great weekend and a creative Sunday :)

Scrap Cards

As you know I hate to waste.
So I have been trying to find a way to use up my scraps. Believe me I have a lot, as I am sure you all do.
So one way I have thought to use them up is by making card sets.
I know this isn't a new idea. But its a good one ;)

I have a file on my computer that I put sketches and cards that inspire me into.
This one was from Riley Fitzgerald. Her card has more embellishments on it. But I wanted to keep it simple.
Believe me it was harder then I thought. I thought I could colour a image, oh maybe some brads, or maybe some inking or ribbon.....I had to remind myself to KISS (Keep It Simple Silly).

My plans for these cards, is to make a set of 10, Two of each colour.

So far I have just done the blue and the pink set.
I am also planning on making a box to fit all the cards and envelopes together.
You know I haven't even made a dent into my scraps yet.

Onto My Day:
I had to wake up early to drive Kristy to work at 7:00am. She slept in, woke up 15 minutes before she was to be there, good thing she works close to home.
Spent the evening watching football, ya you heard that right. Hubby wanted to watch the Notre Dame game. He isn't a big sports buff, but he was looking forward to seeing this one. So I brought up my supplies and worked on these cards as she watched the game.

I hope you all had a creative Saturday :)

The end of the Girls Trip

Well we made it home safe and sound :)
I don't know how Wayne does it, driving for so long with out taking a break.

I think I may be coming down with a cold. I have been chilled ever since last night.
At first I thought it was because I had to gas up the jeep last night, in the rain and it was windy and freezing, and the pump didn't want to co-operate with me.
I was determined to warm up in the hot tub at the hotel. I only had 10 minutes until they closed the hot tub. But I paid for the pool side room (even though I didn't want pool side) so I was determined to get use of it.
There was a gentleman in the hot tub and we had a nice chat. He made it clear that he was divorced and I made it clear that I was happily married, lol.

We stay at this hotel every time we go to Winnipeg. My girls have always loved this staircase.
When they were younger they loved when we got a upper pool side room so they could go up or down these stairs.
Not so much now, as now they are usually loaded up with shopping bags, teehee.

On the way home, we made a pit stop to the cottage. The water is turned off so we had to use the outhouse...better that then down a back road in the bush, lol.
I noticed some of my flowers have survived the cold temperatures and the snow we had got there.

When we got home I was exhausted. I dropped my bags and took a nap...an hour and a half nap. Wow, that drive wore me out.

I think Wayne missed me.
When I got out of the shower I noticed on the bathroom mirror "I heart U" written in the steam.
He can give me diamonds and expensive gifts...but its the little things like this, why Wayne has my heart.

No Friday Night Scrapbooking tonight.
Sharon is in Duluth, Lynne wasn't sure when I would be back, so she is making egg rolls (remember your friend Lynne, remember your friend ;)  )  Debbie is also busy tonight.
Which is okay with me, as I think I needed some down time.
I was going to make some cards with my scraps....but I am just sitting here enjoying my hubby's company and watching Dexter and checking out the blogs I hadn't got to this weekend.
Maybe I am coming down with something...Not wanting to craft, I can't be healthy, lol.

I hope you all had a creative Friday :)

Tracy :)

They have Bieber Fever

I will finally share with you why we made the trip down here to Winnipeg.
Yes we visited some family,
Yes we did some shopping.
But the main reason we are here in Winnipeg was to see Justin Bieber in concert.

Well actually Kristy wanted to go and Ashley is game for anything, so she went as well. I don't think Ashley would ever say no to her sisters :)
So we made a girls trip out of it :)
I love these "girls trips" we take. This one is to short though. We are going home tomorrow, early in the morning as both Heather and Kristy have to work Saturday.

Onto My Day:
Went shopping 1st thing this morning.
Then went shopping this afternoon.
Then went to Red Lobster for supper. But because we had to wait so long for a table, we just ate our salad and then packed the food up as a take out.
Then headed for the concert.
Wow, the traffic was so backed up.
The girls finally just got out of the jeep and walked there. Sadly it was raining, windy and very cold.

Heather and I then waited for them to text us that they were inside then we went to a scrapbook store. Sadly it closed, even though when I had phoned earlier, the recording stated that they were open late tonight.....maybe they went to the concert as well ;)
Then we ran into a few stores and lastly browsed around the bookstore, my second favourite type of store. My girls and I can get lost in a book store for hours.

I hope you all had a creative Thursday :)

Muddin on our trip ;)

We left early, early in the morning.
We were planning on leaving at 6:00am but Wayne (the Time nazi) didn't come with us on this trip so we actually left at 6:20am.
It was pitch black out and really foggy. Not fun driving.

We got stuck behind a transport with a very wide load. It was so wide that it had a 2 police escorts as well as another escort with flashing lights.
The cops were making the on coming traffic pull over as the truck approached, and no one could pass.

Ashley was driving during this time.
I had to go to the bathroom (I mean that second! Was wishing I had one of those bottles the truckers use, lol.) there was no where to pull over, plus following this wide load truck, up the hills the speed would go to 40-50 kph it was taking us forever to get to our next pit stop.
Being the country girl that I am, I made Ashley pull in a side road and I found some cover.
As I was running to my sacred spot, my pant leg got hooked on a piece of barbed wire. Did I tell you I really had to go.
I could hear the jeep, figuring that Ashley was finding a place to turn around. But I could hear her revving the engine.
I get into the jeep and the look on the girls face was priceless, I asked if everything was all right.
Ashley replied, Every things good, Nothing happened.
Yeah right.
This is what my jeep looked like when we finally reached out pit stop.

Turns out she got stuck in some mud. She actually had to put the jeep in 4x4 to get out of the muck.
I just started laughing, thinking of them panicking trying to get out of the mud on a deserted road, while I was tinkling in the bush. LOL.

We checked into the hotel, went shopping ( no crafty shopping on this trip). Then we went to my brother David & Amanda's house for supper with my dad and Doreen and my cute nephews.
Then my brother Darren came by. We were so happy to see him, I haven't seen him in a few years.

Now at the hotel chilaxing. Was going to go in the hot tub, but its a bit to late for that.
Sorry to say that no one has guessed the main reason we are here in Winnipeg.
I will let you know why tomorrow ;)

I hope you had a creative Wednesday :)

Tracy :)

Proud Tuesday and some stamps :)

I made a run for the border :)
My parcel was in...or should I say parcels, teehee.
When I was at Pine City Scrapbookers on our family trip, they were nice enough to order this stamp for me. I asked them to mail it to the address I use in the States.

It is about a 45 minute drive to get to the border, so I figured it was a long drive for just one stamp.
So what should I do, but order some more, lol.
I had to make the trip worth it you know, teehee.

Onto My Day:
Besides Heather and I going across the border, we also had some errands to do.
So we had to go to the bank, get a bit of groceries, pick up a prescription and get some gas for my jeep.

Thought I was finished my stamp records, until I brought these pretties home.
So tonight I finished up with the stamps, but haven't started with the rest of the project.

Tomorrow my girls and I are headed to Winnipeg. Waking up bright and early.
Its about an eight hour drive.
Can you guess why we are going there?

Today is the day I update my healthy living progress.
I am doing pretty good on the eating part, but not so good on the exercise part.
My weight has stayed the same.
Am I happy with the progress I have made?..Not really.
But I am working on being more active.

What have you done today to make you feel proud?

I hope you all had a creative Tuesday :)

Boo!

Boo!!
Did I scare you?
No didn't think so, she is to cute to be scary.
Last card from my Friday Night of card making.

This cute little stamp is from Stampin' Up.
I also used the Stampin' Up markers to colour her in. Except for her skin, used my Copics for that. Just a reminder, because I used water based markers I had to use StazOn ink to stamp her with. But Copics and Staz On are not friends, so I dabbed the skin colour (Copics) on very carefully.
Don't want to ruin those Copics.
I also inked up the background of this image with black soot distress ink, and the ground with green distress ink.

Inside of the card :)

Onto My Day:
Day started with me at the jeep dealership to get my "hood ajar" light to turn off.
Then went to Staples to pick up some office supplies, only to find out at check out that I didn't have my business credit card with me. So I left my supplies there, and went back home.

I was suppose to run to the border to pick up a parcel, but when I phoned, my parcel wasn't in yet. So I decided to go back to Staples to pick up my office supplies.

Spent the evening watching the boob tube and getting my stamps recorded. I am so close to completing it. I will share that with you when its all done.

Do you keep a record of your stamps?
And if you do, how do you record them?

I hope you all had a creative Monday :)

Mummy and Zombies... a perfect day

Here is the second card that I had made on Friday night :)
I have had this image for a while now, but haven't inked him up until now.
I really like the pattern paper so I didn't want to cover it up.
So after I adhered the image to the paper I just added a dimensional sticker that I had picked up from the dollar store last year or so.

This is a CC Designs image and I coloured it up with my Stampin' Up markers.
I did his face with my Copics but was very careful as I stamped the image with StazOn ink...and we know StazOn and Copics don't work well together.
I drew in the grass and added those tiny pumpkins. The pumpkins (or jack-o-lanterns) came from a border strip that I had just cut apart.

The inside of the card.
Pattern paper and back to my recipe/index cards.

Onto My Day:
My day was spent watching another Walking Dead marathon :)  Season 2 today. Loved It :)
I also caught up on my book work and worked on my stamp organization.
I had started a stamp book for when I go on vacation so I have a record of which stamps I have.
I haven't updated it in a long, long time. So I was doing this while watching my zombies.

Have to go Walking Dead Season 3 starts in 7 minutes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope you all had a creative Sunday :)

Tracy :)

Saturday, October 13, 2012

A little witchy and some zombies tonight.

I had coloured this image last year.
I had used my Stampin' Up markers and then used the water pen (aqua pen) to shade, or spread the colour around.
I didn't like how it had turned out so I put it aside....if you know me I have trouble getting rid of things. Like I always say, everything can be used or fixed.
So I added a bit more shading with my Stampin' Up markers and she was good to go :)

The purple colour behind her is just some pattern paper, not part of the card. When I took the photo with my usual brown background, it looked like I took a black and white photo.

Yes her face is a light green. I wanted her to look a bit scary...kind of hard as she is oh so cute.
I don't think this type of colouring is my forte, but I keep trying.
Out of the 3 cards I had made this Friday, this one is Heather's favourite.

What!!! No recipe/index cards, teehee.
I used the Tim Holtz Halloween papers for this card and this sheet was just to fun, so I had to use it.
I will put a tiny journal card on here with a little message before it goes out in the mail.

Onto My Day:
I had mentioned that Lynne wanted me to show her how to colour.
So  last night during Friday Night Scrapbooking, I showed her how to shade, a bit.
I knew that she didn't want to get into the Copics, so I thought I would show her with the Stampin' Up markers, as she was a Stampin' Up demonstrator.
But I think she liked the Sharpies and Bic's better. So I suggested that she purchase couple flesh tones in the Copics and then the Sharpies or Bics for the colours.

So excited that tomorrow is the new season of The Walking Dead.....LOVE this show.
So today we had Season 1 marathon :)
Wayne was out all day cutting up the meat from their catch last weekend.
So we didn't get a chance to get an early start on the season :(
It is going to be a late night of zombies :)

I hope you all had a creative Saturday :)

Tracy :)

Stamps, Stamps and more Stamps :)

I am trying to organize my scrap/craft room.
I have too much stuff. But the thing is I don't want to get rid of it.
I want to USE it.
The one thing I will never get rid of is my stamps.
These are about 95% of my colourable stamps.
What I mean by colourabe, is the ones that have people on them and I use with my Copic markers and other mediums to colour them in.

I had to run out today to pick up a couple more containers.
I consider myself a flipper. I like to flip through my supplies.
But I don't like to flip through binders. I tried that with my stickers and never used them....but I will share that on different day.
I also like to keep my stamps in their original packaging....only because I am lazy, teehee.
I take my stamps with me when I go away with a friend, so I like to keep them in these containers with the snap shut lids so they don't spill all over if I drop them.
I do have another way I am thinking of storing them, but it will take a while to do, and I have so much more organizing to do, so we will see if I ever get to it.

Onto My Day:
Tonight is Friday night scrapbooking. My friend Lynne wants me to show her how I colour.
Her daughter teased her and said "I learned how to colour in kindergarten."
I just told her, but we take it to a whole new level, lol.

Butterflies and Snowy days

I didn't create all day like I wanted to.
But I did get to make a card :)
This is the second image that I had found that I forgot I had coloured up :)
I am not sure if I am totally happy with this card. I do like it, but I was planning on putting a flower that I had made with my new flower die. I made the flower, but it just didn't look right on here.

Not sure when I had coloured this cute little Magnolia girl up, but I do know I used my Copic markers.
I punched out the butterflies and added some rhinestones to their bodies.
I used this large doily that Dena had sent me, thanks Dena.
The top note die cut was given to me from my friend Lynne last weekend. I glimmer misted it to add some colour.

I stamped a sentiment on this tiny doily. This is one of the new dies that I bought on our last trip. Isn't it so cute.

This is the inside of the card.
I used the cute tiny doily again :)

Look what we received this morning...yup snow :(
Ashley took this photo on her IPhone. She took this early in the morning on her way to work. I missed the snow falling as I was still in bed ;)
I am so impressed with how clear these photos are.

When I took Kristy to school, the snow had stopped and the sun was coming up.
It was melted by lunch time.

Onto My Day:
I ended up replying to some old emails most of the day.
I have been so busy this summer that I am behind..way behind on my emails.
I reply to every comment on my blog daily. I reply to every comment on my YouTube and every time someone comments or subs to my channel. Well I was behind...I spent most of today replying and can you believe I am still behind. Wow.

I hope you all have had a creative Thursday :)
It felt nice to get into the scrap/craft room, but I think I need to re-organize in there to get in to the full creative swing of things.
