First off I hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving :)
I love to share my ideas with other creative people.
That's why I started my my blog and YouTube channel.
So when I get asked a question about something I do, I try to answer them.
One question I have been asked a lot lately is what type of envelopes I use for my cards.
Making envelopes is NOT one of my favourite things to do.
Actually I have only made a few and it was for a baby shower or a wedding card.
But what I like to do is alter envelopes to fit my cards :)
Here is a video I made on how easy it is on how I alter an envelope :)
Onto My Day:
Can you believe I didn't even get dressed today...mission accomplished ;)
I woke up, took a shower, put on my jammies and lounged all day.
Wayne and I watched Dexter as I checked my emails and watched some YouTube videos....yes I am that talented, lol.
I hope you all had a creative Monday and my Canadian friends enjoyed our Thanksgiving weekend with family and friends.
Tracy :)

Great tips!! I never thought about altering already made envelopes. I rarely make weird size cards just because I don't like to make envelopes so I'm definitely going to use this tip.
ReplyDeletegreat tutorial. Thanks for sharing. Hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving as well.

ReplyDeleteThat is a wonderful tip, Tracy! Thanks so much. I'd ordered square ones in the past but now I can just buy envelopes from the office supply store and do an easy alteration. Great video!
ReplyDeleteAnother fabulous tip on the envelopes Tracy - guess I'm off to Staples:-) Great video:-) Thanks.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great tip. I usually default to 4.25x5.5 cards because it's easy to find envelopes for. But I love this idea and will be looking for some of these bigger envelopes. Thanks for sharing how you alter these. :)
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of lounging all day in my pajamas!!
ReplyDeleteI think my husband misses "living" in Canada. He is always talking about what is going on up there, like Thanksgiving, even though he is back here in the states. :)
Another awesome video! I had no idea where to get the invitation envelopes - good to know I can pick them up at Staples!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had a whole day to spend in my pjs! That sounds lovely! I was supposed to do that yesterday, but I had work to catch up on that took me all day long :(
Well that is just genius! The big envelopes I have open from the long side, I might have to go pick up some of these from Staples! Your day sounds wonderful, hope you thoroughly enjoyed your Thanksgiving :) it was Columbus Day here, and while Mike had to work and the girls had school, I was home and had a nice day (yesterday) lol
ReplyDeleteAnother great tip. That was brilliant
