I made a card today with my scraps :)
I used some of my left over papers from Once Upon a Springtime paper collection.
I think these and the Steampunk are my two favourite collections from Graphic 45.
I used this sketch from MFTWSC71 .
I had coloured this image a few months ago.
It is a stamp from My Favorite Things, isn't she so sweet.
I coloured her up with my Copics.
I wanted to play with my new flower die from Spellbinders.
Actually I made this flower a few weeks ago, before I even thought of making this card.
I am not sure how I like this die.
The reason being, it is so high. It looks like a cabbage, lol.
This is the first one I had made so it may get better as I make more.
But then again if you know me, then you know I need things to turn out the first time.
Here is the inside of this card.
Onto My Day:
It rained all day today. It was a muggy day, and I just didn't feel like doing anything.
I did make myself walk on the treadmill for 35 minutes.
Then Heather and I spent most of the day watching SuperNatural...I had to get in some eye candy today, Ohhh Dean ;) teehee.
I also tidied up the house a bit.
So what have you done today to make you feel proud?
I......went on the treadmill
I.....lost some weight, not a lot but a bit.
I....enjoyed the day with my daughter.
I hope you all had a creative Tuesday :)
Tracy :)

This is gorgeous!! I love the colors-so soft and pretty.
ReplyDeleteI did some computer work for my DH as he has done so much for me lately.
ReplyDeleteI got my hair cut and coloured...I know i didn't do it...but it still made me proud.
I made a card today.
I did a couple loads of laundry...not bad seeing i have to use a metal stick with a grasping tool on the end to pick up the laundry from the basket and get it up on the washer to check for stains to treat before it goies in the wash.
Even tho I have huge front loaders on drawers, you still have to bend to reach to the back of the tub to get items...more graspy stick time...Yay...it was fun...
Great card! Little miss C would love that image...and I even have the fairy paper to go with...off to check my stamps and see if I have a fairly image!
The papers do go really well with your coloured image. I can see why you have issues with the flower. It would be a little high for me, especially since I do like to send the cards in the mail.
ReplyDeleteMy day was spent at work and it was busy!!!!
Now, I can't sleep and up surfing the internet!
So pretty!!! Great color choices.

ReplyDeleteThat is a great card! I really like the flower, although I am laughing about the cabbage look!
ReplyDeleteYou have a lot to be proud of today! I am the worst when it is rainy and muggy, I never want to do anything but watch TV and scrapbook! (That could be why I was feeling so lazy this morning!)
Beautiful card, the image is so pretty
ReplyDeleteShe is beautiful! :) Love that you used your scraps for this! It's been muggy here too, but no rain. Going to cool off tomorrow...
ReplyDeleteThis is the absolute sweetest image and card! I love the flower you made to accent it with.
ReplyDeleteoMG!!! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteShe is adorable and love how you colored it. The papers all come together.
ReplyDeleteThat card is super sweet! I love the image and the papers coordinate so nicely. I see what you mean about the flower being tall, but I do think it is pretty!
ReplyDeleteYou chose your colours perfectly to match the papers!
ReplyDeleteOkay seriously this week just flew by with me doing destash sales on my yt so I didn't stay caught up on your vids. I love this card but you are right about the flower sticking up high, maybe you can smoosh it a bit by bending the petals over. That die looks similar to one I was going to buy but decided against it. Let me know if you adjust it somehow.
ReplyDeleteCard look lovely. The flower is awesome!
