Relaxing with some Zombie's.

Today was the most beautiful day.
It was perfect. It was a bit hot, but that's OK, when you have a lake near by.
I spent all of the day swinging on our lawn swing reading my book. Or in the lake, on the raft or swimming to the other side of the lake.
Everyone spent the day in the lake. And everyone got too much sun.
As you can see in the photo, I have my sunglasses on....lets just say I look like a raccoon now, lol.

Here is the book I read during the weekend. I know it isn't to most of your taste, but I love all types of books and horror is one of my favourites :)
I don't think I really have to describe this book to much, lol.
But it is about a mom/cop who is trying to save her and her family from the zombie apocalypse.

Ashley and her boyfriend went for a walk. During this time, Wayne and his dad saw an animal across the lake. Wayne thought it was either a cougar or a wolf. It was pretty far away to tell.
So Wayne and Kristy went on the quad to search for Ashley and Tyler. But they were on their way back so all was fine :)

Hope your Saturday was as great as mine.

  4. A cougar or a wolf? Seriously? That scares me more than that book you're reading! Haha!

  5. I love horror stories too and horror movies, ever since I was a little girl. Yup, my mom let me watch horror movies at wee age and I'm proud of it lol. I don't think my son is going to be too into them so I'm hoping my daughter will.

I'm too far east and south for wolves but there have been rumors of a cougar (or as we call them in these parts, a mountain lion) roaming around my area. Someone took pictures of one on their back deck, at night, a couple of towns over. That was a couple of years ago and I don't think there has been a sighting since.
