I woke up this morning and it looked like I had collagen injections in my lip. But only part of my lip.
As it turns out it was one big mother of a cold sore. It is on my lip, going up to my one nostril. I actually have a fat lip because of it.
I stayed home all day. I am not going into public looking like the elephant woman.
So my day wasn't very exciting. I caught up on my book work and hubby and I watched Alias all...day...long.
I didn't get off the couch all day :) Well I had to a few times, teehee.
Because I had to make supper tonight, I made a gourmet meal of cheese, crackers, meat and pickles. Don't you wish I would cook for you :)
Hope your Monday was a creative day.
Tracy

Awww, your lip doesn't sound fun. Sitting on the couch all day, however, does :0) I de Christmasfied my house and got a chipboard album started. Papers on the chipboard is as far as I got anyway. Cleaned most of the day and now it feels good and I can get back to my long awaiting craft space :0) Hope your cold sore goes away fast!
ReplyDeleteCold sores are so sore and inconvenient. i went out shopping today with #2 daughter and found some really good deals. Got winter coats for the little ones for $14 and $15 for next year. Today is my anniversary, but we didn't do anything, as curtis has the crud. Maybe later this week. Great to spend a day on the couch.
ReplyDeleteTracy...those grazing dinners are the best! I made a quiche with the leftover ham. Turned out pretty freaking good!
ReplyDeleteAlias is next on my list of TV shows to watch. Just got done with Bones. Not all of season 6 are still available to watch online :(
ReplyDeletePickles and meat, served by a woman with a cold sore impinging on her nostril. Now that is my idea of a good time. Earthy, and real, ya know?
ReplyDeleteYou guys do such fun family things! How blessed you are.
Never had a cold sore (knock on wood).
Tracy,
ReplyDeleteSo sorry about your cold sore, Trust me, I have been there.
Glad you enjoyed your day with your hubby!
Hugs
Stacy

ReplyDeletecheese, and crackers mmmm my kind of supper! you should have tried bacon too!
ReplyDeleteThat sucks about your cold sore but hey at least it was an excuse to stay home :-)
ReplyDeleteOuch, that lip sounds painful! Hope it's better today. Maybe you should name it... You know, make it feel like part of the family. Haha!
ReplyDeleteI didn't cook yesterday either. Sorry about your lip... ouch! I hate when those things come out of no where. Love Alias!! I miss those good shows. Alias and Lost. I do have Dexter, that's a great show.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good day despite the reason you had to stay home. Cheese and crackers makes an excellent dinner in my book. Too bad I can get my husband on board with that, lol.
ReplyDeleteAwww Tracy your lip does sound sore, terrible ugly things are cold sores, hope yours heals quickly hun.
ReplyDeleteHappy crafting
Tracy x
Delish! Those sound like the gourmet meals I cook. I like to make things fancy for my family.=)
ReplyDeleteAww.sorry about that dang cold sore. It's seriously such a day wrecker when you wake up and find that your body is just not cooperating with you.
Sorry I'm late here but I hope you had a very merry Christmas! I have been stuck in the house since the 17th due to 2 sick children and now they are off of school for the week and we had a huge snow storm. Can you say cabin fever? I've been on the computer fighting with my iTunes after the upgrade for the last 4 days and never thought to look at anyones blog. And just for the record that is my favorite type of dinner. I could live on bread wine and cheese alone.

ReplyDeleteAww. Hope your lip feels better! We're not much better for dinner here. Cold leftover Christmas Ham sandwiches and kiddie movies! Get well soon!
