It's better to Give than to Receive....Really?!?!?!?!

Today was the drawing for my one year give away on my YouTube channel. If you want to check it out Here It Is :)
I also received some happy mail from a fellow YouTube/Blogger, Marie-Claire if you want to check it out Here It Is :)

Onto My Day:

Hubby went and got his truck Rust Checked. He came by and picked me up as he didn't want to park it in the driveway right away. Oil drips off of it for a bit. So we went and got a hot chocolate and went to check out the deer.
But because it was so cold and crazy windy out, they were hiding.

Spend the rest of the day inside. Keeping warm.
It was so nice yesterday, and then it just turned on us. High winds and the temperature dropped. Our driveway looks like a skating rink.
Our neighbours garbage cans kept banging against their house last night, so it kept waking us up. Like couldn't they hear them. I should have phoned them.

Sharon came by for scrap booking tonight.
I worked on my Project 365 .
Sharon made some Christmas cards...I know crazy eh?
Here are a couple she worked on. I have her permission to share them. She really liked them so she said its OK, lol.
I inked the snow and got her to pop dot the layers. Aren't they cute?
She is running out of things to scrapbook, so she is working on her Christmas cards for next year. I told her to make some cards for Card Cupids. She doesn't think her cards are good enough to send out.
I disagree. I think she should. I will try again next Friday ;)
We also played around with our new Martha Stewart border punches. They are so pretty. I love these punches. At 9:00 we usually head out for coffee for Sharon, hot chocolate for me, and munchies and slushies for the girls. Not tonight, it was freezing outside.
But that didn't stop these die hard Northerner's from going outside for there Friday night cigarette, lol. Hubby only smokes when he is with his big sister here, or someone else who smokes, besides that he could go forever without having one. Thankfully.
Mind you in this photo, hubby looks like he has been smoking some wacky tobacky, lol. Watch he will read this post and I will be busted for posting this picture, lol.So that was my day today. It is suppose to be cold and windy all weekend, so I think we will be staying in. We were going to go to camp this weekend. But not in this weather.

Hope you all had a creative Friday.

  1. Lovely Christmas cards! Tell Sharon that I don't think it's peculiar making Christmas cards in February. I'm thinking of making some myself. LOL! I love MS punches too! They're the best!

  2. Very cute cards! And cute photo too. Hubby looks quite happy, like he got a parcel from Cabela's. That heart punch is adorable. I have the lace punches and love 'em. Now the heart set is on my list.

I studied photography in school, so I know the good stuff when I see it. And Ashley definitely has the good stuff :).

  6. Please tell Sharon (I said-hands on hips)her cards are cute and she should go for Card Cupids!! It's always a good time to start Christmas cards! She'll be finished by the time the rest of us get started, lol. Those MS punches are TDF! Oh well...two more things to add to that growing wish list, lol Have a great weekend!

  7. Tracy I am happy about those butterflies....if you try please, let me know.
    hugs from Brazil
    Have a nice Sunday.

  8. Congrats to the winner! I hope she does create some projects and share them. I think it's cool to work on xmas cards anytime. I always put them off til the last minute. Maybe I should take a queue from her! :)

  9. Adorable cards - and I love MS punches, too!

It's crazy windy out here today. One of the shutters just blew off the house. I found it four houses down the street. Glad it didn't hit anyone or anything on it's descent, since it came off the third floor. UGH.

Tell your hubby to stop smoking those cancer sticks, or I'll come up there and smack him. ;)

  10. the cards are super cute - she should definitely send some off!! Coolio on the punches - I have to admit I cringe every time I buy anything MS - cos I can't stand her!!... I placate myself by saying they are really EKSuccess!!

  11. Tracy I just watched your 365 video, I'm lovin the way you are putting it together. I just ordered project life and it's still sittin in the box...I can't decide what to do, I think I will start it on March 1st and will lead up to the wedding on the 5th and then document our life from then on.

Your sisters cards are way cute!! Love that little snowguy!!

  12. Hi, I am new to your blog! After I post this comment, I'm going to check out your YouTube channel! Love your cards too!

  13. I like those MS punches you guys have, very pretty! Her cards look great!

  14. Those cards are adorable, tell Sharon she could totally send her stuff to Card Cupids! Love your border punches too. I don't have any of MS border punches but every time I see a project with them I think I need them!

  15. Tell Sharon her cards are cute and she sure is getting the jump on next year.
I like the border that you did with the MS punch. I don't have any of those. But they sure make an elegant paper.

  16. Creating Christmas cards now is such a good idea. I have neglected my cards in the past to work on actual gifts and I'm always going so fast.

  17. Hey, I crave ice cream in the dead of winter. Of course, I have to have a cup of hot coffee to go with it.:-P Love the cards! And I really need to try the MS punches. Love those patterns! TFS!

Leave me some love and I will return it right back to you :)
