Heather and I went to see the Hunger Games tonight.
It was great!
There were some changes from the book. But even with that, it was still a great movie.
The best was during the ride home with Heather and I discussing the movie and the differences from the book.
Heather is the one that got me reading these books.
Onto My Day:
I was able to work on my mini today. Sharon came by tonight and I worked on it again.
I am so close to finishing it, I am shocked.
It usually takes me forever to make a mini album.....which you all know, lol.
But this one is just coming along so nicely.
But then again it isn't as detailed as the last one I made.
We were going to go to camp this weekend.
Besides the weather being crappy, everyone had plans on different days.
So I told hubby tomorrow will be our date day.
We will go out for dinner, just us two. And NO it will not be at the hot dog vender this time ;)
The girls asked if they could come but I told them its a date night, not a family night, lol.
Hope you all had a creative Friday the 13th ;)
Thank you so much for all your wonderful, awesome comments on my Alice in Wonderland mini album. I think I will frame them for my days I need a pat on the back ;)
Tracy :)

Jer and I plan on going to watch the Hunger Games, we've only heard positive reviews on it from friends. Yay for date night, have fun and enjoy your time together.
ReplyDeleteLater, tater
I just finished reading Hunger Games. Not a book I would normally read but with all the hoopla I thought I should read it. It was a great book. Now I'm anxious to see the movie and read the rest of the books. Enjoy your date night!
ReplyDeleteI don't know anything about this book or movie but I did hear on TV last night that a good portion of the movie was filmed about 30 minute drive from my house! More and more films are being done in NC as it is cheaper and we have such varied and pretty scenery.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a great weekend and date day!
I loved the movie too! I finally saw it last week and I thought it was well adapted for the big screen!
ReplyDeleteI want to go and see this movie. Cait had me read the first book so now I need to read the rest. You and your hubby have a wonderful date night.
ReplyDeleteI'm not much for movie going but my son loved the show...thanks for the lovely comment on my blog...i had no idea the magazines were so different everywhere...super kind of her to mail it to me...kim
ReplyDeleteI haven't read the books or seen the movie, but hear they are both great! Hope you have a fun date night!!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't watch that movie yet, it seems good. The recipe for the eggplant meatballs is from this site : http://www.thedailygreen.com/healthy-eating/recipes/eggplant-meatballs
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fun weekend!!!
Even with the changes, I thought they did a great job on the movie as well! Have fun on your date night!
ReplyDeleteForgot to mention, we fry instead of baking since it's faster. Have to speed up the process when you're hungry ;-)
ReplyDeleteI still haven't seen Hunger Games, and this coming from someone who was going to be coerced into going opening night...I just don't do crowds well, and I want my favorite spot and no weird strangers sitting next to me! When Ash went she was sitting on the second row. No thanks...so I wait. I'm glad you liked it, I really can't wait to see it!!
ReplyDeleteHope you enjoy your date day with your hubby!! :)
Jodie my daughter tried to go see Hunger Games Thursday but it was full, she was gutted, so she saw Mirror Mirror instead. I will tell her Hunger Games was good though.
ReplyDeleteI'm waiting for the DVD.
Happy crafting
Tracy x
My mother in law told me to read the books before I see the movie. She said they were great :o) Date night huh? I need another one of those soon too :o) Have fun! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteDate nights are always special! We had one on Friday 13th and it ended up being a bad luck night as far as the dinner went. Of course, our dinner at McDonald's wasn't much better for me on the 14th either. LOL!
